Wheel alignment done in a timely manner and to a high standard

I have booked appointment for my car wheel alignment on Monday (11-3-24) and some call me don?t come on Monday because they don?t have mechanic. so after that I go on Tuesday and I dropped my car then I go back after four hours. They are saying they don?t have a time to check my car and I collect Car without Repair from there so they ask me come tomorrow morning 9 o?clock they can fix. So Wednesday I go there and I dropped my car 9 o?clock again so they are saying they can call me back when car is fixed after three hours. I go there and my car still not fixed then I argument with the manager so they are saying come back after two hours or three hours so they can fix. They waste my time three days for just wheel alignment. And they cancel my first appointment, and I need to pay again for the other wheel alignment. I don?t recommend this place don?t go there for anything. They waste your time and they want Just money they don?t want to work.

Full service today 2 new Tyres included unfortunately their staff are not capable of inflation correctly. One seriously over filled with air and one under. Both rear tyres also left at a stupid low pressure. I should not need to inflate/deflate new tyres after collecting car from a full service. I have serious doubts and concerns about the standard of work carried out on my car today which included front and back breaks. Discussions with John over the phone at first call did not fill me with confidence from the start with them having ?technical issues? with computers and not all information requested at original booking was showing. This was not his fault and was very helpful however it was visibly an on going issue, same issue when trying to view prices of new tyres time I did not have spare to waste as I had returned for a second time before work carried out.I should have taken my custom elsewhere I?d advise others to do the same! If I could score a zero star I would as I have zero confidence within these premises. Also no upper management available when questions raised about standard of work. This team should not be left without supervision of a fully trained Manager in the building AT ALL TIMES!I intend to have all works checked by another garage and legal action will be taken against any findings of failure on your part and as such shall be reported to the relevant highest authority.

Great service by Cody. We got a puncture but couldn't find a garage that could repair it on the spot. Just before the tyre got completely flat we finally reached Halford. The manage John promptly allocated the job to Cody, and Cody managed to get the tyre fixed in record time. Great to see how fast and efficient Cody was. Big thumbs up!

The staff are friendly and understanding. They did their best to get my car to pass its mot. Fixed a hole in the exhaust, but a day and a half after getting my car back, the exhaust is pretty much hanging off

Cheap for a reason. If you have a booking system why do I need to wait for the job to start?

I used this garage to replace a headlight bulb on a leased works minibus. I pre-booked the appointment & arrived about 10 minutes before their opening time of 0800 a.m. Even then the premises were in the process of opening & moving various customer vehicles. I was instructed where to park by staff and very soon had the bulb replaced and was on my way. All in all the whole process took about 15 minutes. The staff were efficient and courteous. I would recommend this garage, although would advise booking in advance, rather than turning up on the off chance.

I have always had good and efficient service in Halfords centres. Went to the Aberdeen branch in trepidation as it was a pre-MOT tyre check. I was delighted when the engineer told me that all my tyres were fine. No charge. Nothing so increases your confidence in a firm as not being taken advantage of. I will always use Halfords.

Yesterday I worked until very late at night and woke up early to be able to go for the wheel alignment. Got there at the time I paid for, 8:30am, and they told me to come back with the car at around lunchtime. I was under the impression it was a drop off time, but I was told to leave with the car and come back. Spoke to customer service, they said it's so I wasn't charged for the car park. The point I was trying to make was, it's a drop off at 8:30am, which I paid to do, why then do I need to leave with my car and come back. They simply said the garage had said sorry, no other resolution. Cancelled the booking and won't be using again. If you tell someone a time to drop off their car, you honour that time that they spent their hard earned money on. This is the first and last time I will be using their service and I suggest that no one else uses it either if you don't want this to happen to you tooService: Wheel alignment

I would rather pay a random person on street to MOT and Service my car than to ever deal with Halfords Autocentre St Clair street again.Despite booking and paying online weeks in advance, they got their logistics mixed up, did not even remotely try to keep to agreed completion time. Their MOT guy just went home during open hours. I got forced to go back a second day, when they messed up the MOT and reported the very defect which they charged to replace the previous day. Then told me it is an MOT mistake and due to long queues I should come back a third day. Only when I resisted did they eventually repeat and correct the MOT same day.'Apology' was not part of their vocabulary. Customer service was horrendous. And now, two months later I find out that they even omitted to stamp my service book, which forced me to return once again. Yes I did wait before rating them. Even if it was just to be as objective as I possibly can.I have used them two consecutive years, and both times were disappointing. Never again. Not recommendable in the strongest possible terms. They dont even show an attitude that may soften your experience of their incompetence.

Usually just get my MOT here.Staff are friendly enough, job is done within time frame and no unexpected costs.Only once did I have to re-arrange an MOT because the tester was off sick, but they managed to squeeze me in.Once gave me a quote for repairs, but I?d used my own mechanic and took back for testing, again staff happy doing this

After booked to replace 4 tyres, always received messages to remind early 10 minutes to arrive. I arrived early 15 minutes and they told me will finish the job about an hour. When I came back after an hour. My car still parked on same place and same position. No work done at all. They told me the reason is the tyres just arrived. (That?s excuse)After replaced the tyres. Found the wheel nut over torque to 200 Nm(standard torque 110Nm for my car) and found a tyre valve leakage. I came back and complaint the air leak. They told me the tyre specialist gone already and need come back tomorrow to fix the problem.Next day, back to workshop again and also told me will complete the job within an hour. But after an hour. My car still parked on same place and never work.This is not a professional workshop and poor workmanship. Very disappointed.

I had my brakes replaced and when I went to collect my car I was told it needed the front shocks replaced as they were leaking hydraulic fluid at a cost of £410.After saving to get this work done, Itook my car to another garage today who told me there was nothing wrong with them and they were not leaking at all. No work on them was needed.Was this a case of thinking it was easy to fleece a woman? Surely they can't be that hard up for business!!Service: Brakes
