Sadly we?ve been very disappointed with our mattress. After around 12 months it?s still so hard that my husband wakes with some ache or pain, or complains that he couldn?t sleep as he just couldn?t get comfortable. We wanted to support the company as my husband is from the area and we naively thought that it was ?reassuringly expensive? so it must be comfy! Also, it needs turning regularly but takes at least 2 people to do it which means having to ?schedule? a turn! And it doesn?t fit properly in our king-size Feather and Black bed frame!

I?ve owned a Glencraft Sovereign mattress for about a year now and it really has been a big disappointment. I was really looking forward to receiving the mattress after visiting the showroom, however, I was shocked at what was delivered 6 weeks later. Far from a luxurious, supportive mattress what arrived was a like solid slab. I wanted a softer mattress than my old one and this was an order of magnitude firmer. I immediately questioned whether the correct mattress had been ordered and went back to the showroom to retry the mattress I had initially laid on and there was no comparison. I was told to give it a few months which is fair enough. After a year though and the mattress is still hard and Glencraft have assisted with a topper to soften but it?s still not comfortable. To make matters worse the mattress is now sagging in the middle and requires weekly flipping and turning which just isn?t practical. Due to the aches and pains I?m getting from this mattress I?ve decided to stop sleeping on it and have gone back to my old one. It?s not fit for purpose and needs to be scrapped after only a year. Hardly what I would expect for such an expensive item. I?ve had no real explanation from Gencraft as to why it feels so much firmer to the one I tried or why it is sagging. Not the luxury experience in term of service or quality that I was expecting.

I do think my mattress is very good quality and comfortable but it smelt terrible for quite a while. Glencraft told me that the smell (due to the natural materials that it is made from) would dissipate over time. It has and I am left with a great mattress that I know will last a long time. Thank you Glencraft for a great mattress and fantastic service.

Extreamly disappointed with the service received from glencraft. Received my mattress more than 2 months after the order was placed. I completely understand that the mattress it is hand made per order and I received an email a month after the order that my mattress is ready for delivery. After that it took more than a month to have it delivered, which probably it would have taken even longer if I wouldn't contact them at least 4 times. After receiving the mattress I had several questions about the mattress and emailed glencraft twice but with no reply. If I would have known that their customer service and customer care after purchase it is so poor would not have bought the mattress from them. Mattress offers great support but it does have a strong smell of the products used in the making of the mattress.

Excellent service. The delivery team were lovely and even took their shoes off without being asked to. We slept on the Marcliffe mattress during a stay there and I'm delighted to say it's as good at home as it was there, our sleep has vastly improved! Would definitely recommend a Glencraft luxury mattress.

Sent a few questions online as i work overseas and wanted an idea before heading over without a clue. Went into showroom tried a few mattresses, everyone very helpful, within 20 min's or so we had ordered what we wanted within 6 weeks the mattress was delivered and what a difference solids night sleep right away and No sore backs next day, paid for pick up and dispose of old mattress, nothing to do apart for enjoying a good nights sound sleep, thank you Glencraft we will be back, excellent service.

Bought a Glencraft Monarch Mattress king size medium to firm nearly a year ago, we have had 3 pocket sprung beds before including a Harrison bed, this is by far the best we have owned, very high quality well made and extremely comfortable. Also the staff were very professional and helpful, would definitely recommend and we will be back again.

Delighted with all aspects of our purchase of a beautifully crafted mattress from Glencraft. I have never slept so well in a long time and after a few months my severe backache has completely gone !
