Someone asked me recently what colourbox is and I said Think of a hoarder, but clean and has great business sense.A great one-stop shop for packaged food, tools, toys, pet stuff, kitchenware, household goods, sweeties, clothes etc @ bargain prices.

Open until 5pm and got there at 4:40 as the man was closing up. Questioned if they were open until 5pm and all that was said was ?we were? before turning his back on me to lock the door. Rude and unfair as really needed something from there.. won?t be back.

unfortunately I do not know the name of the elderly seller but I think his attitude towards customers is extremely disrespectful

An absolute disgrace of a shop,As my 87 year old Grandmother had entered Colourbox with her wheeled walker, the owner (Brian Ogg), shouted at my Grandparents and said that wheelchairs, walkers and prams were not allowed in the shop, and that they must leave, a young mother with a buggie was given the same treatment shortly afterwards. This left my 87 and 85 year old Grandparents distressed and shaken, and they felt uncomfortable and unwelcome in the area where they have lived since 1971.After speaking to their neighbours, all who are elderly and have lived in Mastrick since the 1960s and 70s, it appears that Mr Ogg's attitude towards disabled or elderly customers is not uncommon. The Equality Act 2010 means that retailers must not discriminate or refuse service to those with a disability, my Grandmother is a Blue Badge Holder, uses a walker and it is clear that she really struggles to walk.If you want to be treated with dignity and respect, Colourbox and Jumblesale World is not for you.A letter has been written to Jackie Dunbar MSP, as this is not an isolated incident.
