Would never usually write a negative review and most likely won't make a difference from reading other similar reviews however....your older staff are so rude!! Surely the energy you expend being rude and unkind is far greater than just being nice. Maybe these older women need more support from their management or are being mistreated who knows....in that case maybe go somewhere else? Life's too short to be that miserable surely.

The two rude women who serve the morning shift have now become infamous and puts many customers off. I will only shop during the day if desperate but would rather walk further to another shop. I just said to her... 'maybe if this job makes you so miserable you should pack it in. ' the girls in the evening are friendly and great to deal with, however. Would love to hear more horror stories about these two women lol

Rude and offensive lady who works mornings to early afternoon Monday to Friday I got to the stage of looking to see who was working on the till before going in but now I have made the decision just not to shop here Janice is her name I have mentioned this numerous times tomanagement but nothing changes she is rude and a vulgar person

The two older women who tend to work mornings into lunchtime (particularly 'R' early morning) make it so that you'd only stop by here if desperate. Both have an utterly foul and nasty attitude, will watch you walk to the till and wait for you to come to them to ask them for help before huffing and demanding to know why you didn't use the self service. 'R' will refuse to serve you unless you stack items in the way she likes (she once refused to 'okay' goods on the self service for me because my tiny little headphones resting on the goods shelf meant she had to stand a few feet back until I removed them) - on the most recent occasion 'R' insisted on resting hot food on the cold metal surface at her till before she would scan it. After requesting that I'd prefer if she could just take them directly from my hand then hand them back to me rather than sitting them on a cold surface, she took them from me, rested them on the metal and almost counted to five to make a point before picking them up slowly one at a time to scan. I should have said I'd just leave them and left but was frankly stunned by the audacity of this weird, vindictive interaction. You never know what someone is going through (and ironically this works both ways - they are consistently nasty and difficult to customers without any consideration for them) so I have always given the benefit of the doubt - but this has went on consistently for a number of years, as you can see from previous reviews going back years it has been mentioned repeatedly and surely complained about so evidently the coop don't particularly care about staff having a constant nasty attitude toward customers. Best avoided in the mornings unless you see through the window in advance that one of these colleagues is not attending the till.

Plenty fresh produce well stocked nice friendly young staff apart from the manageress she never greets you at the check out or after paying for goods not a thank you or a bye she must feel if she brought on a smile her face would crack the best place I would say is best for her is at home watching paint dry her manner puts you off going into the shop

Don?t go there to take out cash from the machine. I went this this morning and was nearly robbed. The sales lady did nothing, no help and didn?t even notice. I was left shaken as I was worried the guy would be waiting outside. It happened at 8am on 20th august 2021.
