I bought an ottoman bed here. They delivered it the next day in several pieces (for context, I have just moved here solo and don?t have anyone to help with moving) and just left it. They acted bothered when I asked for basic instructions for reassembly. I struggled to get it back together and called to ask if someone could perhaps talk me through reassembling it (something that may have taken maximum 5 minutes). They told me to email them with photos. I did and they never answered. When I finally figured out how to reassemble the bed it became really clear that they had damaged it while disassembling and delivering it. Really poor, unhelpful, unresponsive service and reckless delivery. Do not advise for bigger items/delivery.

Thank you for a great service from start to finish. We ordered a few items and had them delivered the next day. The items got delivered on time and the delivery people put items in place for us. It's nice to see a good service and happy workers.

The biggest problem is how to donate.
Even when we are asking them to take furniture for donating they dont give a proper time.
We both are working ans have to take day off to donate furniture
Thats unfortunate
There should be some way how bhf can be bit more accommodating to help us donate.
You cant give time on the day. Website is misleading.BHF doesn't go according to the website

Condition furniture is very well , but people who delivered this , destroyed the health of door slopes. They wanted to finish the delivery faster but were not careful

very disappointed! bought 2x sofa sets and got delivered the wrong ones and only to find out no longer in storage etc now have to wait until they?re collected and then return to their shop to get a refund so much inconvenience very very disappointing dont think will ever visit or put money here anymore

Good place to look for things and always up to good standard it's just hit or miss whether they have what you are looking for. For example I was looking for a bed frame and mattress but there wasn't one so I'll try again another time but generally if they have what you a are looking for you shouldn't be disappointed

Won?t bother donating anything to them again. They say they will take an item but when they turn up they didn?t . That?s despite me showing them a picture of what I was donating before booking the collection.

Over-priced second-hand furniture.you expect charity shops to offer a cheaper alternative for people who are less well off. Unfortunately this one appears to be on the make, charging as much as they can get away with.I came here to hopefully find a bargain. However, I ended up paying £40 + £15 delivery (I live a 5 minute drive away) for a second-hand chest of drawers. It was only after they were delivered that I realised the bottoms had warped and were falling out, so I had to do repairs with wood glue and some tacks. That may serve me right for not fully checking it in the shop, but for the price they were asking, you'd think it had at least been looked at by one of their seemingly numerous staff.I have since noticed that I could have got a brand new set of flat-pack drawers from Amazon delivered free, for less than I paid these guys.You may get lucky and find something reasonably priced, but be very wary of what you are buying and don't get ripped off by their extortionate delivery fees.

I have had very good experiences with them, both buying and donating furniture. I bought a very good quality bookcase at just a fraction of the price it would cost new and I didn't have any problem arranging collection. The staff has always been nice to me. I am happy with the service and I will use this shop again. Finding great bargains and at the same time donating money to a charity to help improve the lives of others is a win-win.

I have been to this store several times over the past few months. I haven't had a single bad experience. Every time I'm in the shop a member of staff has approached me offering help, the prices vary from great to reasonable, the quality of the products I've brought has been perfect, and the staff are always very friendly. I've even applied as a volunteer there as an online lister, although I have not had a response so far. I hope they get in touch soon as I'll be very happy to offer my services.
