“Blackwell's bookshop in the High Street of Old Aberdeen is an outstanding bookshop. It is most attractively laid out, and the staff are helpfulness itself.It would not be reasonable to expect a shop of its comparatively small size to have in stock the book one is looking for on every occasion one pays a visit, but my experience of this shop's "But we can obtain it for you" service is that it exceeds hopes and expectations.Parking is not difficult if one seeks appropriate advice from those 'in the know' and are not intending to be parked up for several hours, and there is a reasonable bus service close by too.It would be so easy to spend a couple of hours in this book shop, browsing. The whole set up has such a welcoming feel about it. I was made to feel a valued customer, and treated as such.Strongly recommended.Robert Wilson”

“If your looking for an archive of comics, this is the place to go. Though out of the way a little, don't be fooled by the small shop you see through the window. Once you go in, and leave your bags in the closet, you are permitted to dive into the basement where there is shelf upon shelf and box upon box of past comics that have came and went.If you've got no strength bring a brwny friend as these boxes are heavy af. However its worth it for the goodies inside ?”
