Absolutely lovely meal in brilliant atmosphere. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. Sea food was delicious. Oysters to kick things off were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Was given a last minute night off work and decided to go for some food at a place I've been eyeing up for a while!I can tell you it surpassed my expectations!No nonsense well cooked seafood served in a quirky, yet, warm and comfortable environment!I had the scallops to start. I would have loved a wee bit more pancetta action on the plate but I think thats a personal preference!My friend had the Cullen skink! ?? What a bowl of soup that was!!!!!We both had the sea bass! Great! Just great! Super crispy, well seasoned skin and just a delight to eat! I would have loved a bit more samphire on my plate, but that's just me!It was a quiet night in the restaurant, although I think that was across the board for industry tonight!I noted the manager preparing a table for a couple of older customers with poor mobility well in advance! I'm assuming they were regulars, but a very attentive none the less!Would definitely recommend and I will be back again!!!

Great restaurant, with a good selection of fish and seafood. I had the sea bass and the mussels and both tasted great. The two course lunch menu is £20 and a bargain (especially if one comes from London)!

We came an hour early for our reservation. No problem. The table in the corner was just perfect. A promising menu was presented, alongside the adequate wine list. We choose two glasses of beautiful savingon blanche, fish soup, and scallops. The starters were delicious. The fish soup came in a generous portion. It was tasty and fresh. Scallops were equally perfect. The miniature cubes of fried black pudding enhanced the taste of the dish. Sweet and salty flavours in perfect harmony together with the texture of the black pudding and the crust of the perfectly fried scallops. Both starters left us with a peaceful mind and utterly enjoyment. The expectations for the main dishes were astronomical. The risotto were well balanced with a pronounced taste of mushrooms. The texture of the rice was on the spot. The fried sea bass was crisp outside and moist and tender inside. Sweet potatoes, citrus, sweet pies, and broccolini were enhancing the complexity. A new combination for me. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Great seafood at this quiet, homely, bistro. Service a little slow but it was well worth the wait.Vegetarian options: There was one vegetarian option for each course, more for dessert.Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant and they happily talked me through the menu telling me which options could be made dairy free.

Great seafood at this quiet, homely, bistro. Nice that Aberdeen has a good seafood restaurant in the middle of the city once again. Service was a little slow but the wine was nice it was well worth the wait. We'll go back for sure.

It?s ok. Friendly service and the food was ok. The £34 hot seafood platter from the specials menu was missing clams and crayfish, Slightly disappointing. Should have been taken off the board really. The other courses were fine. The atmosphere is nice.

The seafood starter and the mains where prepared and cooked to perfection The oysters where particularly excellent, scallops Sea bass and their accompanying dishes where all top notch, so well done to the chefs and the service was also very good ?

Had eaten at Bistro Verde many times over past few years always fabulous seafood and service. So disappointed to discover it had changed owners . The resteraunt was very cold in fact uncomfortably so. My daughters soup had obviously been heated up in microwave . I ordered oysters and I have never seen oysters so small but at least they were fresh. We both ordered the seafood linguine and only seafood was salmon & bream no prawns etc but it was quite tasty . When I got the bill I bad been over charged for both mains but was refunded when I pointed this out. Sorry to say I can't recommend nor will return .

Beautiful seafood. One of the best meals I?ve tasted. Full of flavour. Super friendly staff and lovely little restaurant. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Rather slow, at least the night we went. There was just one waiter and only 3 occupied tables. Food service took quite a while, and the meal was fine but I wouldn't return.

Food was really enjoyable; mussels, seafood platter, whitefish, bread was excellent. Went for alot of the cocktails and specials of the day also, so bill did mount up. Surely still one of the better seafood places in Aberdeen. Service was ok, although not pinpoint and as comfortable friendly as some other places. This was highlighted by the service charge (2 persons 10%). Seems to be an increasingly common add on to a number of venues now, presumes the expectation from the customer, for UK dining experiences in most circumstances I find this unwarranted. Excellent service will be tipped well, adding this on my POV it provides an awkward ending.

The interior of this restaurant is fantastic as has great decoration with lots of humorous signs and pictures around. We were greeted immediately on arrival by very outgoing and kind staff who showed us to our table and explained the new menu to my partner and myself. The food, was outstanding, with a new menu just out I had to try the Halibut and it did not disappoint, and my partners looked amazing. The portion sizes are great too, I was almost rolling out of the diner by the time we had to leave. If you choose to visit you must leave room for dessert, as their cheesecakes are definitely something you don't want to miss out on.
