Just walked down to my local Branch at Albyn Place, several people on the steps waiting for closed doors to open ? No Luck, men in overalls inside, ? building work or bank robbery ? No notice on doors to say why they are closed ? Gave up, walked home, checked web site which says in very small red letters "Temporarily Closed" Who checks the web site before going to bank ??Not Good Enough

Total lack of communication with their BOS Customers especially after the bank has closed down your local branch where one has banked with the Halifax/Bank of Scotland for many years. No letter or even a phone call to confirm that they have successfully carried out my account branch transfer since BOS head office closed down my Cults branch permanently on August 2023. No confirmation either from my new holding branch of Bank of Scotland at 39 Albyn Place, Aberdeen. AB10 1YN.Today 2nd October 2023 I was informed by a lady on the BOS Online Helpdesk that their holding branch at 39 Albyn Place, Aberdeen and the branch on Union St, Aberdeen is also going to be permanently closed down in January 2024.Q. Why has BOS Customer Service at Head Office not had the decency to contact any of their own long standing customers to advise them of these closures.Note: I shall be travelling to either the Philippines and or Thailand and these countries Immigration and Customs will want to have paper copies of my correct Bank of Scotland Address and the correct contact phone number, Bank account number & sort code. Also what my Iban number and the swift code is for my local Bank of Scotland branch and for the BOS Head Office for International Foreign Money Transfers and to exchange my UK Gov State Pension & My Private Workplace Pension.It would have been nice to have written confirmation from BOS Head Office whether I can keep my same account number & Sort Code after they close down all of these local Halifax and Bank of Scotland Branches and Lloyds Banking are also closing down many of their branches as well.

Absoloute joke of a place, wait 40 mins to be seen to be told a pay slip and a bank statement isnt enough to withdraw money? Went to inverurie branch the same day and was able to withdraw money with a abnk statement and payslip

Got here late today needing to urgently pay solicitor's fees to complete my flat purchase as I had run into bother with my card reader /online banking at home. I was seen to as soon as I walked in the door and the young lady and her colleague were a massive help. Sorted out my payment immediately and were able to change my registered address and offered me advice on getting a new card to sort out my chip problem. Even though it was probably about 15 mins before closing by the time I parked and got in the door I was sorted right there and then. Great service.

After many attempts to solve a problem via online banking with no success I visited the branch and the service I received was excellent and the problem solved. Gold stars all round.??????????

Good but not fantastic. The queuing time is very long with the ATMs for depositing cash temperamental.Staff are friendly and helpful however there is very few parking spaces meaning you could end up having to pay for parking elsewhere in order to get in. Always recommend walking if you can

How can I give this place 0 stars? RBS has slowly been on a decline for years, and now I only keep one personal account with them. This store is maybe the worst bank I?ve ever been in. Parking is atrocious. Queues are outrageous. Staff never seem to be in a hurry and as always like any large store management are twiddling their thumbs. Avoid if possible at all costs and move to online banking with Starling - 100000x better.

Just back from depositing cheques into my account. The staff at this bank are always good but, in the current situation whereby you are queuing outside before being let in, they are especially good. Really helpful, cheerful and ready to explain things. Kept the queue moving as quickly as possible and made everybody feel valued and that they would be as quick in dealing with them as possible. Can?t be the easiest job in these times but made it seem like it was. Just FYI I was there around 2pm ish and the person dealing with everybody was a middle aged man who was excellent!

If you like to queue for an eternity then be "greeted" by staff with no personality then this is the bank for you.
