Not great service,after picking up the car we nothing a lot of things wrong,the car is covered in overspray,there is dirt in the lacquer,they even left a dent and paint chip in the freshly painted area,the colour difference is massive and the quality is horrible

My experience with this place was nothing short of a nightmare. I brought my car in for an insurance job, and when I picked it up, the back bumper had a massive scrape, as if they had dragged it along a wall. The manager, Donald, dismissed it, claiming my bumper was already broken so it didn?t matter there was an added scrape. Despite promising to arrange a ?botched paint job?, he never called back. After multiple calls and a legal threat, I took my car in again. Donald, in an angry confrontation, said they?d paint the bumper To top it off, I was insulted and called names. Avoid this place at all costs ? unprofessional, disrespectful, and DHL's insurance is reconsidering their contract with them.

I had my car in for an insurance job and it was not a pleasant experience dealing with ash grove motors. From the reception staff to the manager they were rude and unhelpful. Once I finally got my car back after months of phone calls and emails the passenger window wasn?t in properly and slid out of place when the window was being put up and down.My locking wheel nut had been broken which they tried to claim wasn?t them.I was meant to get a courtesy car when the car was in getting fixed which never happened I ended up with my insurance hiring a car.An engine light came on after I received the car back which they point blank refused to take responsibility for which ended up in the car having to go to the manufacturer itself to fix properly.To summarise poor quality staff poor quality job and would highly recommend finding another garage to deal with any issues.

I had a car repaired here under an insurance job, work was not great initially, but the did rectify. However as time has gone by the lacquer apply to the bumper is flacking off, dissapointingAlso, did not notice at the time, but buffing/sanding whatever they were doing scratch the chrome trims around the windows, far too late to do anything about it now, but I?m downgrading my 4 start earlier review to 2 stars.

Shocking customer service and no courtesy car provided despite being contracted to provide. Wouldn?t recommend this place at all. Would be zero stars if possible.

The result of my experience with them? I took my car back and it?s like new! Very nice painting with 3 years guarantee. They changed a headlight, front bumper, one wing and fix one small mark on one door but it seems that they painted the hole door wow!My insurance suggested them to me as partners .I took a nice brand new Toyota Aygo X as a courtesy car.Some negatives :I was waiting three months to get in the garage to fix my car , yes they are busy I can see it from the outside.While in the garage the end date postponed 2 times, didn?t bother me so much as long as I had a courtesy car to move.Even though they provide you with an app to check the progress of your fixes , when I sent them an email they never replied back to me.Lastly , is the attitude, is classic garage like tone, always in a rush don?t ask to many questions, do this do that and that?s it , if you are nitpicking things or you want breakdown analyses you won?t gonna find them.And of course I don?t know how much expensive they are.Services: Painting

Very poor customer service! Communication was good once car arrived on site, but things have taken a good while, its an insurance job, waiting for courtesy car, which can't allegedly get till garage has parts. But 6 weeks in the garage and saying still haven't done mechanical checks so don't know what parts they need, I've asked via email about any updates, got completely ignored. Only communication I get is with insurance company and even then its like pulling teeth! Not helpful at all

Fantastic experience!I think many do not understand that much of the challenges faced by bodyshop companies like Ashgrove is accessing the parts from OEM and Main Dealers. Some are quicker than others but this is not Ashgroves problem, its a global supply problem, hence the reason insurance costs are and have been increasing!Back to the review in hand!Car collectionThey collected the car (it was technically undriveable) on the back of a truck within 4 days. They assessed the car within 48 hours and provided various photographic assessment to begin the repair process.Progress updatesThe car was away for about 6 weeks in total, and I had really good updates both online and from the team on the phone or via email. The system they use is simple and secure. It works as it should.Fantastic teamJust to name a few, Donna, Shona, Alan and Rob (sure i missed someone - i apologise) were all fantastic.Car returnMy car was returned, i checked it, they checked it, all was good! Really impressive service and the colour matching to the body lines were absolutely spot on. I can thank the team enough!Thank you very much team Ashgrove!Services: Electrical repair
