Was here last night for dinner can?t fault the food I had the sea bass with was lovely, cooked well and very flavourful. It really is a hidden gem.

Unpleasant first visit. The restaurant appeared empty but staff members didn?t acknowledge us for 10/15 minutes while passing us, making us wonder if we were standing in the right spot. (Not even a hello). Was offered a very wobbly table, waited a further 10 minutes without menus or drink orders. Were given a water jug with no glasses, 30 minutes into the whole experience we were offered drinks and was told our server would be back to take food orders. After another wait we decided to just pay for the drinks and leave. Staff seemed to be pleasant but no clue on what to do and lacked initiative. Felt feeling very awkward

Went for a birthday celebration. Food was average and portions small for the cost. Service was good. Decor is a little tired. Overall no more than an average experience.

Outstanding food, ambience and service. Excellent salmon dish and wonderful carefully curated wine list. The upstairs area offers lovely views over the harbour. Service was superb - attentive, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place. Great views over the harbour from the 3rd floor. Staff were so helpful and friendly - very attentive and professional. Allowed us to take in a cake for a birthday and they took it away, lit the candles and brought it back over so it was a surprise for our Dad. Perfect place for our dad to celebrate his birthday after over 50 years of working there and lots of happy memories. Food was delicious and well presented at a great price too. A couple more vegan options would be welcome and could be eaten by all customers. All in all we had a really lovely evening and will definitely be back - the afternoon tea sounds lovely! Great to have the option to book private functions here too. Thanks for a memorable night. ?

SET dinner for Hogmanay and it was excellent. Prompt service that felt personal. Five courses and everything tasted and presented well. The views from sky bar amazing but it was dark so try going during the day . This is our 10th visit probably and never fails to impress me.

Booked the festive afternoon tea online for a pre-panto treat. When it arrived, we were glad to see there were plenty of savoury items, which we prefer over sweet. Everything was delicious, one of the best afternoon teas we've had (and we've had a fair few!). My favourite was the pigs in blankets sausage roll, although a tiny pot of ketchup would've been ideal with it. The cake pop & spiced orange scone were so good. We both had a pink gin, and the bill was a reasonable £48. Staff were friendly, and views over the harbour were great.

Unfortunately not what I expected going by menu and previous reviews. Paid £46 for 3 course Christmas meal, including service charge and excluding drinks. Had a nice private room. Service ran late due to previous sitting. Lots of different groups going about not knowing where they were meant to be. My starter of pate was quite nice, but had 2 small slices of chicken which were wet and looked like they were straight out of a packet. Main course was salmon wrapped in sole but looked more like fried scampi. Totally over done. Cheese board was quite non descript, nothing special. I don't like to give negative reviews but I wouldn't hurry back. Poor value for money and they need to get their act together for better managing multiple groups.

Went for a Prosecco afternoon tea. Was given terrible service from the moment we walked in. Never given a chance to order a drink, never received our Prosecco even though that was noted in the reservation notes. Once we received our food they never checked on us until we were done our food. Food was really good but was overshadowed with how bad the service was. Once we finished our food it was 15 minutes until they cleared our table (which they only cleared half). When we asked for the bill it was another 15 minutes we waited until we finally went to the bar trying to settle and leave. The manage then looked at our table saw we didn?t have Prosecco and saw our gift certificate said Prosecco ignored it and said it was fine and we were good to go.I would never go back to this place, it was clear we were not the only ones that were receiving terrible service. I would highly discourage anyone from going here, the food is good but not worth fighting at each step for service. Very disappointing.

Had an excellent meal with my son. Staff were friendly and looked after us well. I had the half lobster and my son had the burger. Good views across the harbour. Unexpected find. Would go again next time I'm in Aberdeen.

Great food and a good range of menu options. A friendly and efficient service, just a five-minute walk from Union Square. Highly recommended!
