Mom and Pop store. Mom is the warm and friendly front of house and bar lady while Pop is in the kitchen cooking up the delicious meals. Very warmly welcomed, a delicious meal and nice cold real ale. A real gem in a small town.

5 stars are not enough! Comfortable rooms at this very friendly Inn with great locally sourced food and a well stocked bar. The Innkeepers went out of their way to offer amazing hospitality. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a traditional Scottish affair with all the trimmings and our evening meals were marvellos portions and very tastey.

On our way back home from Banff, we took a detour to visit this inn. The village is rather tired but this place is a real gem. Cosy warm and wonderful - dare I say it old "English" pub. The welcome was second to none, the beers were varied. The locals were friendly. By the time we left we were talking about booking a night one weekend just so that we could sample the full hospitality of this place. Even though we were staying with my daughter only half an hour away. They only do food at weekends. Definitely one to go back to.

A warm welcome, tasty food, amazing baked goods, lovely atmosphere and dog friendly! We felt welcome as soon as we entered this cosy pub (the pictures really don?t do it justice). We arrived earlier than planned but our hosts went the extra mile to fit us in. The menu was small but - as is often the case - this proved to be a good sign as everything was carefully prepared and delicious. There was home-baked bread to buy. Prices were extremely reasonable and my partner?s favourite real ale was on tap. Service was amazing. This will probably be a new favourite pub. We will definitely be back!

What a jewel of a find! We were lucky to find this Inn and Restaurant last-minute on our road trip and wow what a great place!Operated by a wonderful husband-wife couple who are so welcoming that you just want to extend your stay.The room was very clean and quiet and comfortable.The dinner and breakfast where both prepared by the excellent chef (the husband), and served by his lovely wife.Our stay was too short, and we?d love to return. If you find yourself anywhere near here, call and make a dinner reservation or even stay a couple nights.

1st time visiting The New Inn, Foggie/Aberchirder. Had a lovely meal in a fantastic traditional pub with a lovely atmosphere. Food was exceptional & staff were very attentive. Highly recommended & will definitely be be back. ??????????
