Both my husband and I throughly enjoyed our lunch and there was definitely plenty on the plate . Clean crisp fresh food .
Service was second to none especially the little blonde girl. Massive smile very welcoming

Lovely place and it's so lovely to have a garden centre that welcome children and offer a soft play area.
I think the server is called Josh- he is so welcoming and couldn't do more to help you.
Please please cover up the heater in the children's area! There is a storage heater near the door at child height which gets VERY VERY hot. Our little ones put their hand on it and burnt their fingers (not a bad burn but was very red) as it was extremely hot. There are no signs saying it was on- it was a warm day or that it gets very hot. As it was a warm day we were expecting it to be turned off so didn't check it.
Also, access changing facility /toilets closer to the children's area would be really helpful. When you have a young child, traipsing through the cafe then outside to change your child isn't ideal.

Wonderful food and service, very impressive for a garden centre. good selection of hit and cold items we went for the Sunday roast, we prebooked, and got a free cauliflower cheese for the table, which was a lovely extra. Also, there are lots of cakes and puddings, proper coffees and teas. Really lovely service as well
Vegetarian options: variety of veggies options and a vegan one
Dietary restrictions: they do have a variety if milks and a I believe some gluten free options
Parking: parking at the garden centre was free and ample the day we went, but it's not the largest of spaces

Huge slices of cake! Reasonable prices about £3-£4 per slice but they are about the biggest I've seen. Good menu for lunch, nice atmosphere. Didn't go into the garden centre so can't comment on that. Popular for cyclists though no cycle rack for your bike but plenty of places to put your bike. Friendly approachable staff.
Parking: Lots of free parking with wide spaces on gravel that is quite compacted so it's not too difficult to walk on.
Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level though the toilets are quite small. And it's on a slope.

I?m not a natural complainer but as talking to the ?chef? is intimidating I thought I would. It?s a nice cafe usually, Just don?t ask for anything with feta & walnuts on top, I ordered toasted sour dough with feta & walnuts, sounded delicious, what arrived was two dry slices of bread with a handful of leaves from a bag tossed on the bread, half a dozen tiny cubes of fetta & a few broken bits of walnut.. no idea how you?d eat the pickle in a pot with it? chef said ?sorry that?s how we make it?
Just a bit of balsamic & oil would have helped, instead I had to put butter on the bread.
As I was leaving two ladies seemed to be talking to her about their panini?s with the same topping..
stick to the quiche, it?s always good there.
