An excellent curry house! The staff were informative on the food and the quality was second to none. Particular of note the vindaloo that was hot but flavoursome, excellent roti and flavour to die for. Even though it's cash only and you can bring your own drinks I would heartily recommend!

Lovely evening, we ate fairly early as out with the grandchildren and I was surprised how busy they were! But everything was great. Definitely recommend a visit.

Sorry Red India, but possibly the worse curry I have ever had. Every single dish was watery, lacked flavour and had no, and I mean no taste whatsoever.
Why was there lemon in every dish?
Why was the tarka dal like water?
Sorry boys, but never again!!

Wow my first visit. Food was excellent can't wait till my family member moves to Uppingham in the next few weeks. We had a 17 month old child with us who loved the food. So looking forward to my next visit to try more of their excellent food. Waiting staff could not do more. They do need to acquire a high chair if I was to find any fault however it did not detract from a lovely time.

Excellent Indian where they could make your choice of curry as spicy or mild as you like, but be prepared as they don't hold back with the spice ??
Cash only so make sure to bring some cash or draw some out from the nearby corner shop opposite the school. Also BYOB, but they couldn't offer to put cans in the fridge (although they did offer me ice) so buy some drinks that are already chilled.

Really nice food served by friendly staff. Monday night was very quiet so not much atmosphere. Cash or bank transfer only also byo drinks.

We have been coming here for about a year and I have to say it?s a fantastic Indian when they get it right. The chicken tikka masala is a little bland but if you ask for Madras hot it is PERFECT.We always take away and generally the time they say it?s ready, it?s generally ready. Plus they occasionally give us a few freebies (I think it?s because we order the same thing every time haha!) think they are trying to broaden our horizons.It?s cash only, staff are nice, it?s a bit pricey but don?t mind when it?s good!

Very welcoming and attentive staff. Please note that no alcohol is sold but you may bring your own. Also note that it is cash only, no credit cards accepted. Huge range of dishes on the menu. Our chosen dishes were authentic Indian meals not adapted to European tastes. The pork and chicken was beautifully tender and delicious. It was odd that on one side we had a well behaved mature hen party (with alcohol) and behind us was a group of students from the famous Uppingham public school equally well behaved.
