Lovely unusual cafe. Exceptionally good quality, and inexpensive. They don?t even mind if you bring your own as long as you buy their lovely drinks and maybe their delicious cakes.
My cousin and her husband who were visiting from Australia were so impressed by the friendliness and wonderful atmosphere. Not posh, but really comfy. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I've joined a weekly drawing club here. Staff are great and the venue cosy.Wheelchair accessibility: Poor accessibility as far as I can see. Lots of seats upstairs via a narrow staircase, downstairs the venue is pretty compact.

The tastiest salad dressing, the perfectly balanced quiche, sausage rolls with perfect pastry - and all home made. Add to that a caring friendly service. A really great gem ??????

Gem of a coffee shop. Friendly and welcoming. Some table-seating and some comfy seats upstairs. Hot pastries and cakes , all looked good, but need to go back again to try some more. Americano coffee was first class.

A great discovery. This is the best cafe in Uppingham. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the sofas while eating our quiche and wrap. Great quality. Excellent properly human service.

What a find. Great atmosphere & a local asset. Comfortable space upstairs with sofas & various sized tables which is used for small meetings. Excellent wifi & computer help & advice. A variety of Quiches & lovely salad when we visited. And then, to top it off a REALLY great espresso!

Fabulous. Friendly service complements perfectly the cracking coffee and cakes. On the way out try some of the cheeses they really are so delicious and they?re very happy to offer samples.

A very warm, friendly welcome awaits you here. The food is always delicious and there's plenty of choice! Downstairs you'll find a nicely stocked little store, with all kinds of lovely 'deli' treats, alcohol and gifts. Upstairs there's a cosy seating area, with tables, sofas and chairs, where strangers become friends, whilst escaping the rush of life for a while. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. ?
