My mum doesn't have Facebook so has written this review on mine. I had my 60th birthday at The Woodhouse Arms on Saturday night, there were 18 of us and the service was impeccable! Nothing was too much trouble and we were delighted with how the night went. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a lovely atmosphere in the pub which made everyone feel welcomed and relaxed. Also an extra special thank you to Georgie who was so attentive for the whole evening and ensured everything ran smoothly. I had the best night ever!

We went here for a family birthday dinner. We all thought our meals were lovely and reasonably priced. We found the staff polite and efficient, and the surroundings were pleasant. We would definitely visit again.

Fantastic service and a very good dining experience. Food was of high quality and palatable. The waitresses were friendly and attentive to every request. We come here yearly to meet up half way with our family from Leeds. Always a great meeting point!! Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at this lovely place. If you want a lovely stay or meal in a rural village a few minutes drive from A1 this is ideal and it?s pet friendly.
The accommodation was clean warm and cosy and the staff very friendly warm and polite throughout. There is a lovely restaurant and decent menu and the food is good quality and well cooked while the pub has a nice selection of drinks.
As we stayed over the breakfast was lovely and was cooked beautifully.
We will definitely visit again either to stay over or have a meal.
Thanks again to the staff who made the stay so delightful.

Celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at the Woodhouse Arms in the private dining room. Excellent food. service and lovely staff.
The steak and ale pie was definitely a favourite.
Thanks to Gemma for organising the afternoon and her wonderful team.
