Only went in for a bite to eat. Got persuaded to join in the pub quiz and had a blast! Bob and his staff were lovely and welcoming, as were the locals, very friendly. The food was delicious and a good varied menu with a specials board too.

Fantastic meal, we are staying in Skillington and the landlady recommended the White Lion for food. Really great fish dishes from the specials board. Lovely staff and reasonable prices - great pint of Guinness too.

Food is fantastic we are lucky to have a local pub with such good food their fish and chips are the best around and dishes with sauces are special well done Bob , Phil and all the staff

We stayed in a lovely little cottage just over the road from the pub. We visited both nights we stayed and we're made to feel very welcome.
We are at the pub on the Saturday night and we're not disappointed. The food was fresh, piping hot and delicious.
The staff were very accommodating (there were 8 of us and we hadn't booked).
Highly recommend.

We had our works Christmas night out on Sunday and it was a really lovely evening. The food was very nice and the service was so friendly they couldn?t do enough for us.
Would definitely recommend going there again.

We have just had an amazing time at The White Lion. There were nearly 20 of us for a Christmas meal and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was excellent.
