Bought a ?washable? deluxe toddler cot bed pillow. expensive, but I thought worth it for a premium product. Key words in the name of the product being ?washable? and ?deluxe?.I have owned this pillow two months and washed it once, following the care instructions to the letter. Pillow emerged misshapen and all the wool had clumped in to hard golf balls throughout.I emailed customer care, who after much back and forth (plus offering for me to return it to them for an inspection as they just ?know? from experience that it?s not faulty) they have now stopped replying to any correspondence.Customer care told me this was normal and that I needed to spend time teasing the wool back out of the golf ball clumps. I?ve spent over an hour doing this, and it?s still so lumpy to the point my toddler is telling me her pillow is uncomfortable. Essentially all it is now is a sad sack filled with half squishy golf balls and much area with no filling in at all. I tried to argue the point that it was advertised as ?washable? and that no where on the page did it state ?washable but you?ll have serious work to do afterwards if you do wash it? and the customer care (who became rude and impatient) said that this product requires regular maintenance like this! Again, this was mentioned nowhere on the product page. Who?s got time to spend hours on de clumping, flumping and teasing a pillow?!As I mentioned above, customer care now not replying to my correspondence, not issued a refund because they state the product is not faulty. The product has been missold and misrepresented as both washable and deluxe. Third party involvement is next.

Terrible company with over priced products. Purchased the v-pillow which has a 14-day vs. 30-day trial like all the other pillows, probably because the v-pillow is a subpar product (not to mention the itchy pillow case you?re pretty much forced to purchase with the pillow). Very hard, uncomfortable pillow that gave me neck pain but I was too late trying to return on day 16. Be sure to read the fine print on your purchase as their general policy on their website is not accurate and does not apply to their products how you would expect. I feel this is very dishonest and they could have easily chosen to accept my return as I used the pillow for one night, not I?m out $180 yes because I didn?t read everything super carefully, so not friendly to people who have ADHD or are not neurotypical. I read the main policy but they really did not care and are very strict on their returns Whatever - bad karma on Woolroom for this. Bought a Purple pillow instead (who doesn?t have arbitrary exceptions for their return policy) and will dismantle Woolroom?s product to make a better pillow. Still waiting for them to post my review on their website - that will be the true test of integrity for this business.

I ordered pyjamas before a trip and the delivery didn't make it until after I left. The restocking fee is 50%, make sure to consider this before ordering.

I am now buying our 4th and 5th wool comforters from Woolroom! We have been so happy with the quality of the products and the customer service, we won't take a chance with any other company. I love that their wool is high quality and the animals are treated well. Thank you!!

I initially had trouble ordering online so I called them directly to place my order, which was easy and seamless. Our king mattress protector arrived within about a week, and we?re very pleased with it. The quality is excellent and it?s exactly as described, no surprises. Simply a great product and a great experience! Highly recommended

The Oakham branch is actually in a commercial building which you have to make an appointment to go into.its not a shop.Very little in there either. Some of the products are actually great, but not all.A company is only as good as its customer service and returns policy, and this company may as well not have either. Do your research before ordering!!!The mattresses have many negative reviews, and forget trying to change it. If you do manage to change it, your 100 night guarantee will not be transferred over to another mattress.Neither will you even get the guarantee unless you purchase their mattress protector. Yep. another way of them making more money.People are complaining about delivery times too.Ive been a fan of this company for many years, but not anymore.Luckily a shop that rhymes with Don Pewis are now doing wool mattresses, and guess what, their returns dept is excellent !!!

Absolutely brilliant! This is my second time purchasing from The Woolroom, two protectors and a topper later and still one happy customer! We have a memory foam mattress which can get a little warm, the topper and protector really spread the heat so it?s not as intense underneath you. From ordering to delivery was literally a matter of days, super quick! And no plastic packaging whatsoever which is a real big tick!?All in all, fab. Would not hesitate to recommend! ??????????

I have had the deluxe wool pillow for just over two months (but probably only slept on it for just over one month as been away a lot). When changing the cover the other day I noticed a small rip in the side (just stitching popped I think) which will likely grow and my wool might escape! I happily rung The Wool Room today with the expectation they would apologise and offer a replacement (is that too much to expect from an expensive company and after two months of owning a product)? Firstly I was told I was outside of the 30 day trial period. I?m happy with my product it?s just broken and shouldn?t be, so nothing to do with the trial. Secondly I was asked if perhaps something sharp had broken it and that I might sow it back together. Not impressed. Who sleeps with sharp things in their bed and I do not expect to have to sow my very expensive pillow back together after 2 months! The price of the products is not representative of the brand or customer service which is highly disappointing. In my opinion you pay for both and I feel very let down and likely won?t purchase anything else from the wool room (I was thinking about a new mattress, duvet, topper etc.) They need to get their act together if they want to keep customers like me.

Bought a mattress for UK mainland delivery. Website states next working day delivery. I've been told delivery will take 8 days instead making the sleeping situation for my wife and two children very difficult. Would not recommend.

The customer service is appalling. The mattress smells quite bad and the owner of the company is completely unsympathetic. I would not recommend the mattress or any dealings with the company.

Bought 2 deluxe wool pillows on black friday, received them and plumped it all up as it says and every morning they are flat as pancake. I looked on the website to see it says it has 580g of filling and doesn't state what firmness it. I then looked at one of the other pillows which has this option and states a soft tension should be 700g. How these pillows can be sold as deluxe is beyond me when it's far less than a soft tension pillow. Also if you want to add wool it's another cost but you still only get 250g and to get to a medium firmness its 900g. I called them up today and can already tell they are going to be difficult asking for pictures and saying its the correct amount for people which it clearly isn't and I believe they are conning people with these pillows.

SHIPPING TO CANADA IS NOT FREE.I purchased a Twin Classic Wool Comforter - Light. The product is fine. However, despite claiming free shipping to Canada, I found myself landed with a $72 bill from FedEx for other charges. While they plaster a large "FREE US & Canadian shipping for orders $100 and over" at every opportunity on their website, there is no mention of the extra charges, not even in the Terms and Conditions that are visible when purchasing. They sent me their full Terms and Conditions after I complained. Not useful.

Bought a hebredian 3000 mattress from them and is absolutely the most uncomfortable mattress I ever bought. It has been a month, and my wife and I can?t get any sleep on it whatsoever. Interrupted sleep, backaches every single morning . We were told because it so dense will take time to adjust but we just are exhausted. We have bought a thick mattress topper to get some measure of sleep but I have never needed a topper or wait months to get it to mould ever on £1400 mattress.Plus the measurements are out. Advertised as 28cm depth and at home it was 25cm depth.

We have used Woolroom several times now, for a range of wool pillows, three duvets, three baby/child mattresses, toppers, a superking bed, and a superking mattress. We keep going back because we always find the products really excellent. When we first bought them (5yrs ago, for our then new baby) their delivery and customer service was great - we had no issues at all and everything was very fast. In the recent 6months, the products have still been good but the purchase experience has been really extremely frustrating. None of the items have arrived anywhere near the timescales promised on their website, everything takes a lot longer than advertised. Even putting up the superking bed - says ?5-10min to assemble? on their website, took the two of us (competent, with power tools, no problems in the process) nearly 90min to do it!! Took 20min alone to unwrap it from the packaging. A lovely bed and very happy with it, but I?d really appreciate honest and accurate advertising of all timescales (order times, delivery times, and assemly) from the outset.

Beware unbalanced reviews. I own the Ryeland King Size - it's lumpy and uncomfy. I liked the idea of a wool mattress and decided to replace my Feather & Black mattress due to age, although with hindsight this was a mistake as it was much better quality. I was influenced by the purely positive reviews on the website into buying the Exmoor (with 100 night trial). When it arrived it was clearly a thin, basic 'spare room' mattress, I immediately contacted them, went to the Marlow Showroom and tried the Ryeland, and exchanged it for a king size medium tension Ryeland at £1500. It took some weeks for them to arrange the delivery. The Ryeland was fine for the first two weeks but even with turning and flipping it is now absolutely awful, like sleeping on lumpy washing. No response to my email to Customer Service. Really disappointed and worst of all I had my original mattress removed. £1500 is a sizeable spend and I cannot afford to replace it for some time. A note arrives with the mattress saying it will mould to your body shape - I think they have included this to preempt the complaints they receive - it just isn't up to standard. Please don't waste your money. If you do the 100 night trial return don't exchange your product as the trial was not carried over to the Ryeland, despite me notifying them within hours of the Exmoor arriving and using their mattress protector. The Customer Service is very poor and they only post the positive reviews on their website, which skews the true picture.
