On the 15th &16th of August, I had the great pleasure of having a full English breakfast at this lovely pub. Even though it was early morning and the staff had not long opened the doors, every one of the staff were so pleasant and helpful, on both days. Thank you all at this lovely place, and by the way my breakfasts where amazing.

Nice Spoons in Oakham. Popped in to a bite to eat, all our meals were nice. The beer was good too.

The service was terrible, the food was missing items, then they tell you we will bring the missing items but the it never happened. The look they gave me when I made the aware of the missing items was shocking ?. Terrible experience ?

Cheap and cheerful; it was very busy when the wife and I went. Several tables were covered in empty plates, glasses, etc., which wasn't very appealing; however, the staff were friendly and polite.

They have a lovely atmosphere with a good sit out space with a nice view. Food is great but the service was too slow.
In their defense they said they had just one person in the kitchen that morning. But when you know your restaurant attracts lots of people, you should make provisions to serve them. That's poor management. Some of the waitresses were polite enough to explain but one who couldn't work under pressure was very dismissive and sort of rude.
Nonetheless, the American breakfast was well made , my colleagues had a large traditional breakfast and it tasted great.

It's a Spoons! Standard fayre. Had a surprisingly long wait for food, unusual in a Spoons, even when busy. Great ales at great prices
