I was in the area for work and really needed some comfort food so checked out Google and came across this hidden gem... absolutely loved the food and service was amazing... Will definitely visit again if in the area.... thanks to all at Rutland Balti... especially the owner(Boro Bhai)

After using Balti House for many years! Both as take out and dining in. Tonight, will be the last time. After being lied to and over charged! I ordered multiple curries, rice, poppadoms and nan breads, 4 nan breads I ordered. One I recieved. When I phoned up to ask where my other nan breads were. I was told I only got charged for one! Well I of course checked thier Maths to discover I have indeed been charge for 4. Liars! They can keep the few pounds I am owed. As the food Luke warm and bland. Overall a disappointing experience.

Be aware of price differences to online menus and when you get to collect food. Challenged and shown online menu on website and still refused to correct. Avoid and go to a more trustworthy restaurant that has fair pricing.

We have been several times to the Rutland Balti restaurant, we thought we had found a decent priced restaurant that serves good quality food. However last night we ate there and all three chicken dishes we had, all different dishes, the chicken was like rubber, so much so that we didn?t finish the food. We said to the manager that the chicken was tough and rubber like, he didn?t appear interested.Unfortunately this poor experience has left us with the view that we won?t be visiting again. Such a shame as previously the food and service was good.

Awful food. Chicken korma sauce was minimal and full of water rather than the usual thick sauce you would expect. No flavour to this either. Chicken was not fresh, instead dry and chewy. Rice was soft and soggy. Worst Indian in Rutland, would never order from here again. Not a patch on Sarpech!
