Visited the shop as my local service provider could not help me with the problem on my mobile phone. The chap who was in attendance at the shop this morning, 27/10/2025, was extremely helpful and succeed in getting my phone into good working order after a wee bit of playing around with it. It was a brilliant job that he did and I am really pleased with the result.
I would recommend this shop to anyone who has a problem with their phone.

Sent my phone in to be fixed for the back part was originally told it would be 2-4 days I accepted it?d be a bit longer due to weekends and bank holidays so would likely receive it back within a week but it?s coming up to two weeks that?s it?s been gone and whenever I go to find out if it?s fixed and returned yet he just says no says it will back the next day and tells me he?ll call me when it?s arrived. Last time I go there to have something fixed

Popped in for a car charger for an iPhone and whilst there they took a look at an issue with my charging slot- sorted it for me in 5 mins, great service.

They fixed my phones charge port in a few seconds, and didnt even charge me. Super friendly and helpful, will be back.

My Husband took his phone for repair thinking it may require the charging port replaced and was given a fair quote. Luckly It turn out to be a quick fix as it only required a clean. There was no charge for this even though my husband offered to pay. Friendly staff, I highly recommend Oakham Mobile Repairs!

Had an issue with an Xperia I'd just bought so I took it here to be fixed.Turns out it was something and nothing and the guy had it sorted in two minutes flat.He did it for free, and wouldn't take any money even when I offered!Highly recommended...?

Avoid at all costs - went in for a battery replacement. The guy was adamant after fitting the battery that the message ?unknown part? was normal, and would ?disappear after a few days?? it hasn?t. As he was ?changing the battery? (which, incidentally, had the exact same % charge when he gave it back as when it went in? so is that a coincidence the ?new battery? had the exactly same charge level??) he broke the screen and consequently had to go back multiple times to have the screen fixed as each screen he put on had separate issues and still isn?t fully working all the time. The only issue I had with the phone before visiting this shop was the battery life - since the visit, I?ve had multiple issues with the screen and now the camera has stopped working and I cannot take photos. Avoid this shop entirely unless you want any issues with your phone to be made worse
