Customer service was great, was quoted, and told my vehicle needed a new engine. However, having taken it elsewhere, this was not the case, and the work was done for almost half the price quoted.

Apologies to David as meant to leave this review much earlier. We broke down in August on the way to Scotland to visit family. While waiting almost 5 hours for recovery to come and collect us I phoned around to see if any local garages would be able to fix our issue (fanbelt snapped). David was the only mechanic in town willing to entertain us. Once we finally arrived at David?s garage I explained our predicament and he ordered a replacement fanbelt, and fitted it in less than an hour, completely saving our trip up north. The man is an absolute lifesaver and I?d recommend him to anyone in a heartbeatService: Engine repair

I am so grateful for the time I was given when I brought my car in this morning. I am travelling abroad tomorrow and was worried about a leak from the windscreen fluid tank. Not only did one of the mechanics come straight out to have a look at it, he also filled the up the water. Such a friendly and professional service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was let down by another garage for work to be done on my Private Hire car. I contacted Jamie at David Underwood?s and asked whether he could help. As usual they were very booked up, but he told me to bring my car in and they would see what could be done. I took my car in at 3.30pm on Thursday and said see you next week hopefully, if they can fit it in. 5.30pm on the same day, I get a phone call from Jamie to say that my car was ready. I was stunned and speechless.I could not believe how he had not only got the parts in, but did the work too, in TWO hours. That is an incredible service and goes beyond the call of duty.I was about to give my airport runs away to another driver, but Jamie saved the day and I could do them myself.
