A lovely place to visit for a restaurant and overpriced home lifestyle shop. One for the tourists - not a gardeners destination. A selection of plants but not a mainstream garden centre by any means.

Today was my second recent visit and the second time I?ve been surprised by the rather prickly attitude of one senior member of staff, working outside. I don?t know who she is but she needs retraining in how to behave towards customers. The odd smile wouldn?t go amiss either.

Online says closes 17:30, on the door says 17:00, refused coffee at 16:30. Staff did not even come over when we entered.
Looks like a nice place to eat drink but I didn?t get to appreciate it!

Lovely garden centre and lifestyle store .... with cafe and restaurant. Even has books on local walks, e-hire bikes, local author novels ... A little pricey but lovely to visit for a treat. Great coffee

Absolutely love this place, everything about it is amazing we have to travel a hour and half but it's worth the journey.great restaurant and staff . Sell Plants along with unusual interior doing a bit of renovations ATM can't wait to see what it will be

The cafe was disappointing we had sandwiches, the bread was lovely but spoiled as it got wet. I think frozen prawns were added to the sauce causing the dressing to dilute into a very watery mess with no flavour. The side salad needed some dressing. On the plus side the staff were lovely. Probably won?t recommend it or make a return visit.£££

Nice garden centre, lovely view from the cafe. For some reason, you can't sit outside at the back on the vast patio area. Lovely tea, awful cakes. Our lemon blueberry cakes were dark, hard and over baked on the outside, and heavy, stodgy and unrisen inside. The St Clements was the same. They were so sickly sweet we couldn't finish them. The tea was nice, two cups to a pot. The coffee had a surcharge for non-dairy. The chips were the same as Aldi skin-on fries.
Fantastic selection of plants, every plant, and shrub we have bought from here has been very healthy and has thrived. Good pot selection, too.
The shops are nice, if a bit expensive. Highly recommended visiting at Christmas time.
