Great gastro pub with an excellent value for money. Care and attention in the preparation of the dishes, and seasonal local products in the menu. Good wine selection. Find this on the Michelin guide and well worth the tour.

Myself and wife have eaten previously at the Killingworth a few years back and it was stunning then. This visit was even better! Top foodie pub with rooms & friendly team in glorious Oxfordshire countryside near Woodstock / Blenheim Palace. The Killingworth Castle offers 3 AA Rosette food on A la Carte & tasting menus, consistently recommended by Michelin.
Our food & 8 luxury ensuite rooms (2 dog friendly) are a treat after a busy day exploring the area, from the Cotswold villages, gardens and walks to shopping at Daylesford, Bicester or Diddly Squat! And we're only a few miles from historic Oxford.
