Checking in took around 30 minutes as my booking wasn?t on the system although I had already paid for it. The lady on the desk apologised but was short with me several times. Room was nice but there was a cigarette burn in the bed sheets. Went to go have dinner and manager for the night was rude, kept staring and making me feel uncomfortable. Once I finished my meal I waited for a staff member to come past so I could pay if I needed to as I wasn?t sure because i did a deal, no one came so I thought it would go on my room. I saw the manager at the bar and she said nothing. I walked to my room and she came running after me, making me feel embarrassed like I was stealing even though I was staying there for the night. I asked if it could just go on the room and I would pay later and she shrugged her shoulders and was really rude. Another lady staying at the hotel asked me if I was okay and if I had been overcharged as she had experienced something similar. Waiter was lovely but I will not be staying here again.

Comfortable rooms, good location, excellent breakfast, complimentary coffee and ? lounge ?. Warm welcome and somewhere to store our bikes. Highly recommended.

nice to find an old fashioned kind of place to stay , not all posh and un friendly .it is not a place if you like your mod cons but its a nice place in a nice setting for you to rest your head . I would stay here again and a nice breakfast

Excellent place was down from Scotland for family Funeral staff were excellent aswell and very helpful would stay there again when down in Oxford

Warm welcome including complimentary coffee and cakes. All staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable, well equipped and cosy. Breakfast choices various with tasty food and excellent service.Location excellent and very attractive outlook.Perfect for our needs.

Pleasant room good breakfast. Only problem was TV couldnt get channels 1-5. As i was on my own i would have liked to watch TV. Owners tried retuning 4 times unsuccessfully - a real shame.

Lovely hotel with well equipped rooms and very comfortable beds. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Will certainly stay here again when next visiting Witney.

extreamly dated and grim bathroom ,shower ran from hot to cold constantly ,and compared to the Stansted Hilton for witch I paid eighty five pounds just one month ago ,this at one hundred pounds per night was excessive to say the least .Not value for money .Possible one star.
