Popped in at 5.30 p.m. yesterday to have a drink with some clients. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended and it's a shame we didn't have time to try the food. Maybe next time!
A modern dining pub in set in an 18th-century building with a warm welcome, excellent local food and interesting wines and cocktails and local ales.
We serve modern British food that is simple, clean and pared-back. Menus are inventive and changed regularly inspired by the best seasonal ingredients sourced locally as much as possible from a local farms, butchers, cheesemakers and vegetable growers.
