I spoke to Nicola who was immediately helpful and brilliant in explaining how fridges work. Based on my description she was kind enough to suggest that booking a repair might me a waste of time for us and that a new fridge was almost certainly needed. Will use them again for other appliance fixes now!

Had Chris out today for what we thought was a straight forward change of part was a little trickier and Chris stayed to find out exactly what was wrong and managed to fixed it, extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I was very impressed with all elements of the service from Talmage's and would highly recommend . I was arranging for 3 replacement Appliances for my Mother . Russell in the shop was very knowledgeable and helpful , then the staff were kind and helpful when my mother phoned from a abroad to effect payment . The appliances were delivered promptly and fitting by to very nice men who effortlessly overcame some minor difficulties and removed the old appliances . Even if the things might cost a little less elsewhere ,i would say this firm offers excellent value

Save your money - avoid!I've used Talmage's a number of times over the years. 20 years ago they were excellent and would fix anything with very detailed product knowledge. But over the last ten years they don't fix anything any more. Everything is "uneconomical to repair" and they pocket the £60+ call-out charge.

Talmage's are a fantastic company to which Pheasant Retreats use on a daily basis. The quotes and ordering systems are fast and efficient with email conformation on every stage of the repair or delivery of each work order we send over. The staff are always friendly, nothing is too much trouble and will do anything to help. Such a brilliant company. Well done Talmage's. Lynda.

I cannot speak too highly of this company. They supplied a Candy/Hoover Fridge freezer which failed to maintain an even or predictable low temperature. They organised a Hoover maintenance visit and a circuit board was replaced but this didn't solve the problem at all. Despite Hoover's refusal (to me) to replace it as we had had it for a month, Talmage persisted and today a new Bosch model was installed and the faulty one taken away at no cost to us. On removal of the Hoover model it became clear that the fault lay in the evaporation container which was completely full and inoperative. It's rare to get such sustained and helpful service from a white goods company such as Talmage. They went way above and beyond anything I have experienced elsewhere. Strongly recommended.
