Low qualification of staff. On the 24th December I bought an gift for my son. When collecting it turned out that I booked a collection at a different shop - 15 miles away from Witney. So I asked an Argos shop assistant - Luis - if he could switch my order from Kidlington collection to Witney. That man - Luis - just cancelled my order. Now I would need to wait 7 days for the money (£500) to hit my bank account. I never asked to cancel my order!!!! I know stupid things happen, but this was out of the line indeed. A very disappointing mishap on a Christmas eve.

ANDY - WITNEY ARGOS.\\n\\nHe went above and beyond for me today!\\nWent in as I'd ordered some Halloween costumes for my children to be collected in store, but hadn't heard anything for 8 days. Was panicking as we arranged a photo shoot, which was at 1:30. Went into store at 12:30 hopeful.\\nIt was manic in the store. One women was having ago at him as well as another member of staff but he kept his cool. He took my order number and was back within 2 minutes with my order.\\nHad been delivered but not checked in, bottom of the pile but he saved the day! I'll be forever grateful. Thank you Andy!

I don't normally shop in Sainsbury's as I prefer to combine Waitrose and Lidl together with visits to markets and delis. But I had some vouchers to use, to paid a visit. I obviously picked a good time, as unlike last time when I went in to use Argos, I was able to move around the store without swerving a fellow trolley-user every few yards.

I don't normally shop in Sainsbury's as I prefer to combine Waitrose and Lidl together with visits to markets and delis. But I had some vouchers to use, to paid a visit. I obviously picked a good time, as unlike last time when I went in to use Argos, I was able to move around the store without swerving a fellow trolley-user every few yards.
I also don't normally choose self-service tills, but I had some awkward-shaped stuff which needed careful packing to fit on my bike, plus some coupons and reductions I wanted to keep an eye on. I did however have to call an assistant for every coupon, which seemed counter-productive.
After finishing the pack I thought it would be nice to stop in the café to try their coffee. I parked my trolley in the correct place and walked over to the counter, where I was ignored for 10 minutes from 1532-1542 by a woman who kept emptying and refilling different parts of the machine. A second woman came out who also didn't check on the customers, and then disappeared again. Eventually I gave up, retrieved my trolley, and went for a coffee back at home.
One positive I would like to add is how happy most of the staff seemed. I noticed them happily joking with each other at several different points around the shop.

I bought one toy from this store yesterday, then I am not satisfied this product so I went to back today for refund the money. But one of the gentlemen introduced him self I am a manager in this store and he said that â??we canâ??t refund under the policyâ?. I couldnâ??t understand afterwards went to botley Argos , they did refund and thanks for them.

Only 3 stars due to not enough item actually in stock. You have to order on line for collection 1 to 2 or more days later. No problem with the staff.

Just been to collect my order that I placed online,it was 6.30pm and only one person was serving customers,I have been waiting for more then 30 minutes and walked out,so many other people done the same .
