I organised a group stay for car enthusiasts with a dinner in the Windrush Room. The location is lovely and the hotel arranged for us to have exclusive parking in part of the pub car park opposite (part of the hotel chain). Whilst there was some other pressures on the Events Team so that communications were a little slow at first, the event ran smoothly and the staff on site, especially those serving dinner, were excellent. Thank you all.

The staff were excellent. The setting is divine. We had room 102, which was just perfect for us. It was my birthday when we stayed and the staff went out of their way to make it even more special. Thank you all. We did dine there, but as a group and the food was faultless. My only quibble was the bar prices. They are a bit pricey but it didn't spoil our stay.

Have stayed many times in past and the location is very special . This time we stayed in the Mill and usually we have stayed in the Swan . The garden room was very cute , right by the river . A nice touch to add the fire pit and wood for cosy evenings by the river . The room was a little cold and we had to do a bit of investigation to get the radiator on and the towel rail was switched off. Wouldn't it have been nice to turn these things on , even on low to take the chill off a waterside room . Again the restaurant was chilly and we heard other people ask to put the radiators on . Its such a basic thing to have the room temperature correct and a chilly dining room is not great . Would have been lovely if some pillar candles were lit in the lovely fire place to add a bit of heart and a glow . The food was good however the portion of chips my husband was given was ridiculously small . A pot with about 6 chips ! The check out procedure was polite , however it would have been nice to be informed of service charges being added without a word of option . It is already a fairly costly stay without adding service charges . Probably , given chance to think about it , I would not have chosen to add the service charge as I feel there are lots of little things that need addressing and attention to detail has been lost of late . However we still enjoyed our one night despite a few little issues .

Priced well above the average for this area, we expected much more. The superior room was cramped, especially through the narrow passage from the entry, past the wardrobe. The bed was, however, entirely comfortable with soft pillows. The wardrobe was just large enough, but mostly occupied with ironing equipment and a fan. Space was further reduced once we stored the dressing gowns and slippers which were blocking access through the narrow door into the bathroom. The cold tap delivered only warm water (despite leaving it to run for over 5 minutes) until the following morning when enough guests ran their taps to flush through the standing water in the pipes. The large shower was excellent though. Despite its recent expensive makeover, the public area of the hotel was rather soulless, except for the dining room, bar and the terrace beside the river. It was nice that there is a pool and spa for guest use, but disappointing that there is a significant extra charge to use the facility on top of the high room rate. Top marks for having an Archimedes Screw to provide power for the hotel.

Could not rate the location and especially the team highly enough for making our wedding day as magical as it was. The food was fantastic and every thing ran like clock work. No request was top big or small. Keep up the great work guys

I organised a work leaders meeting at Minster Mill and overall it was excellent. The staff looked after us well, the food was excellent and the meeting room space ideal for our group of 25-30. The bonus of the Old Swan pub next door and lots of access to countryside for fresh air made it a great choice.

Minster Mill provided a bespoke brunch for a group of global alumni of a business change programme. I picked the venue because of its location and it did not disappoint. The marketing and reception staff were very helpful and the food provided was really nice. The meeting room looked out over the river. Sadly we didn't have time to explore the beautiful gardens.

Beautiful location in A picture perfect Cotswold village, with an ancient church and old ruins, but rather expensive for the room we had , which had an outside patio with a outside fire by the river which was so overgrown you couldn?t see it from the room, nice restaurant with freshly cooked breakfast but no breakfast bar, so a quite limited selection . The telephones were down when we were there so no room service, Pleasant staff , but nothing special except for the amazing location which is way out in the countryside.

The rooms are pretty basic, we spent almost £500 for two nights in a less than average room. The biscuits that came with the tea and coffee was opened and half eaten, would you expect that at almost £250 per night? didn't get to use anything in the hotel as the pool or gym is at an extra cost!! Food menu way too limited to ended up dining elsewhere. Overall, save your money and go elsewhere.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Everything else is poor. Untrained staff, badly laid out and terrible value for money. I paid £500 for a one night stay and would have had to pay another £50 to swim in the pool. The cost is not an issue for me and I want to pay to have a nice experience. The service was terrible. We walked out of the restaurant before ordering from a very limited menu.

Great location, beautiful surroundings, therapeutic Spa with luxurious products, friendly and efficient staff, lovely rooms (opt for the feature room with the view of the stream and listen to the owls hooting in the evening) and THE MOST comfortable beds........ zzzzz

Beautiful surroundings and Spa! A great restaurant that is small and tall with a set menu and good breakfast. Room was nice and service was impressive- fantastic for a family birthday, as they made special touches even a signed card, chocolates and dessert plate!

Absolutely wonderful stay! We had our wedding reception here on Sunday and we couldn?t have asked for more. From our first conversation with Nichola, the events manager we felt so well looked after. She created a bespoke package which was perfect for us and they exceeded all of our expectations on the day. Our room was beautiful and staff so attentive. The food was exceptional and they catered for everyone so well, including a few dietary requirements and even my 8 month old son. The communication from start to finish was excellent and they made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend this hotel for anything from drinks, breakfast, dinner and events. Thank you for making our dreams come true, we will be back. :-)

Visited here for the afternoon tea one day and it was a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. The food was delicious and there was a generous amount of food, which was good considering the price was £35 per person. They also have lovely grounds to have a wander round.Food & drinks: Would recommend doing the afternoon tea.
