So sorry but come on guys, this used to be the best takeaway in town, bad enough that you've stopped the Thai, (which was wonderful) but now only five pieces of chicken in a butter chicken which was swimming in oil! And egg rice packed with onion and veg pieces that just done belong very unhappy ?

Myself and my boyfriend recently ordered a meal from Eastern Cuisine. I ordered the Old Delhi Butter Chicken, he ordered the Pathia. His was good but mine unfortunately was a strange consistency and drowning in oil. This was unlike any other Butter Chicken I?ve had (my usual order) and despite trying to drain a lot of the oil off, it was inedible and didn?t even taste good. I?m not sure what happened with this, but it was extremely disappointing as I was left without a dinner. As it was just after closing time, we emailed to communicate our dismay and requested a refund for just this dish and the Poppadums as these were missing from our our order. We have not even got a reply about this despite following up, which is disappointing as I would think it was a one off incident and would have considered ordering from them again. It is not much to expect a response from them, or a lot to refund just what was not eaten. As a result I do not recommend ordering from here.

Not an authentic one. Chicken was not fresh. Looks more Bangladeshi restaurant like others in Witney . Not recommended as a Indian.

The best Takeaway in Witney
Very friendly and quick service. Food was excellent and cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend and there is lots of halal food on the menu. Easy access and friendly.

Great local take away. Food always tastes great and they're really friendly too. Was in there earlier today and was having a really bad day. They must have noticed how down I was beacuase when I got home there was an extra portion of chicken tikka masala on the house. Really kind of the people there to do so!
It's things like that that keep us coming back.

Tried this for the first time tonight.My husband was terribly disappointed with his chicken madras. He said the chicken was so tough and chewy it was inedible. The garlic and coriander naan was thin, dry, chewy and utterly devoid of any flavour..Mushroom bhaji also tasteless.Sag aloo ok.My chicken tikka saag was very nice.The rice was lovely.Onion bhajis dry and chewy.All in all we won't order from you again.Very disappointed.

Ordered for takeaway and didn't like the curries at all. Chickpeas felt like they were either canned or frozen before hand, hard vegetables and paneer felt very fake as well. Definitely not authentic. It wasn't non edible food but it was not authentic. Only authentic quality was the big portion that is part of every Indian restaurant aesthetic
