Went here Sunday late morning for a coffee and stood in an empty queue for 3minutes (yes, I timed it, because it annoyed me so much) while 3 young staff behind the counter failed to even make eye contact let alone take an order. One was browsing his phone, 2 were faffing about washing THE SAME blender. Even if you could argue that it took two to wash it, it wouldn't have taken much for one of them to just say, 'Be with you in a minute'. As for the one on his phone, I have no idea. The place wasn't remotely busy (I can see why) so it really shouldn't have been an issue. Left and went to the place opposite which was much better.

This Costa is so hit and miss regarding the service. No vegan cakes either which is ridiculous these days

Haven't been in here in a while and as soon as I walked in a remembered why!!! Staff had attitude , drinks were awful , the place was filthy . Don't waste your time go across the way to Lynwoods :-)

The coffee is really good. Actually hot. Now that sounds odd as a remark. But a lot of coffee shops sell medium heat coffee so you drink and go. Here the barristers made me a HOT coffee, very good.I think that the food is only a "okay" it's Costa food so nothing amazing but also nothing terrible either so you win some and lose some.It's a solid place for a sociable coffee.Parking: The parking is very close at tops 5mins walk and it's free

Slow service. Table right at waiting area for takeaway so those people just get a nice view of your backside when waiting. Staff handling till and food without washing hands.

Staff are lovely. Make sure you ask for the cream to be fresh whipped, or you will end up with nasty on top of your lovely coffee ?

Visited the Costa in witney, 3 staff members working and it wasn't too busy but it appeared a bit chaotic for them. 1 member of staff was more interested in his phone then on customers orders, drinks seemed to take a while to be made which consisted of 2 hot chocolate and a mocha. Once coffee was made it was the usual for a Costa. Can't say I'd rush back to this store with Starbucks across the way.
