Sadly a very disappointing visit to the cafe today. Three out of the four of us had the goat's cheese and red onion chutney toastie. This turned out to be a chutney toastie with a sprinkle of goat's cheese inside. This in turn made the sandwich so soggy and slippery it was unpleasant to eat.The member of staff who cleared the table noticed we hadn't eaten them, but didn't say anything until I pointed this out.She said 'I'll mention it to the chef' and walked off.We didn't see anyone again until we went to order tea and coffee and then to pay.No mention of it by the staff, no apology, nothing! This, coupled with the place being so cold we had to leave our coats on, means that sadly we will not be returning or recommending it.I have only written this review because of the attitude of the member of staff, had they apologised or shown any concern we would have considered the matter closed.

Wonderful place to have a light bite and coffee while looking at antiques! Now you'd imagine that with a captive audience the coffee and food would be so so. But, it was wonderful! I asked for a bacon baguette that wasn't actually on the menu and they were so accomadating it duly arrived! Very nice with fresh cooked bacon and nice fresh crunchy baguette. I had a flat white which so many places just do wrong. It was great! All told I'd highly recommend popping in yourself and hope your experience is as good as mine!!

Not great value, food bland, portions miserly, seen better service, overpriced. Disappointing.

The Old Flight House has an eclectic selection of antiques and ?stuff? and has a lovely cafe as well. Certainly worth a visit.

Seem more popular as a coffee shop than an antique market.

Visited this week for coffee, decided to indulge on a cheese scone, when the order arrived there were two beautifully warm scones, butter, cheese and chutney. Would thoroughly recommend a visit

A great spot for browsing antiques. I liked how everything was well looked after, carefully organised and arranged in a pleasing way. We also spent time in the cafe. The waitresses there were friendly and the place seemed popular as after we'd found our table it began filling up quickly. The menu looked great with some really tasty sounding lunch options which we didn't go for in the end only because we weren't too hungry. The savoury cream tea option was a great idea. We were a bit disappointed by the fact that the tea came with just a tea bag in a cup and no teapot. The cheese scones though were clearly homemade and delicious. The cheese on the side felt a bit much though what with all the cheese in the scones already! My flat white was not the best I've ever tasted but perfectly fine and I was happy to see they had milk alternatives too. We'll definitely be back as it's a great spot just off the motorway for a quick catch-up!
