Very good cafe, unable to go to our usual haunt as they don't allow dogs!!!
The Bay Tree could not be more different.
Service was swift and efficient with even a small bowl of biscuits for our dog.
Food was good and reasonably priced.
We shall definitely visit again with or without our four legged friend.

I had a ham salad sandwich. The ham content was one piece of the thinnest wafer thin ham ever, it was completely tasteless. The salad was old cut up iceberg, tomatoes slice. One slice of cucumber. The salad on the side was pitifully small and only about 5 crisps. Terrible value for money. The cold Coke drink had no ice.
My daughter was given the end crust of bread in her bacon toastie . Same tiny quantity of salad leaves and 5 crisps. We went because they do gluten free bread. I wish I had made my own picnic and eaten it in the car!

Worst so called ?tomato and red pepper soup?we have ever had, it was so thin and watery absolutely tasteless ( now we know why?, you did say you were running out and it was only just 11.45 very early lunch! so I guess it was watered down to go further !!! No apology when we went to pay for our cup of tea only abruptness !

Always have lovely food in here,this time it was brunch.The food is always hot and plentiful and the cakes are homemade and all look lovely.
There's a nice atmosphere and it's warm and spotlessly clean.

It was quiet when I went (mid week pre lunch), but there's a good amount of space to accommodate a crowd. The menu offers a good selection at very reasonable prices. I had coffee and cake (both of which were delicious) and the service was great, staff very friendly. Will likely come again to sample the breakfast, who looks tasty. Really good gluten free selection.

Great service, friendly staff.
Breakfast lacked quality and was overcooked. Sausages had clearly been over defrosted in the microwave before cooking. £10 was steep for the breakfast served. Also £2.40 for a can of drink is excessive.

I can't believe I haven't written a review before now. We love the Bay Tree Cafe, everything about it is comfortable and welcoming, we can even take our dog with us and they gave him a free bowl of doggy treats. The food is always great, the service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is always friendly. Have been many times, and will definitely be going many more times.
