Poor customer service, one staff member in particular was very rude and dismissive towards me. In future I will avoid this shop. It?s a shame because one staff member should not affect all of the staff and I have had positive experiences in the past but now prefer to take my business elsewhere.

Absolutely shocked. Despite visiting this shop a number of times over the past nine months to buy 18+ products and showing my identification, today I was told that if I did not fully remove my mask to verify that the drivers license was mine, then I would not be allowed to purchase the alcohol despite sharing my concerns regarding the possible health implications of removing the mask due to my father being of incredibly high risk to the virus. On sharing my worries the unpleasant lady then began to check the ID to make sure it wasn't fake, and took an incredibly long time handing me my change as though she was "getting back at me" for something. Appalling customer service. I have informed the council of this.

Handy convenience store with decent opening times in Wantage

They're open from 5am (or earlier if you ask nicely)till 10pm every night including Sundays. Everyday of the year (except Christmas Day, when they're still open for a few hours). Theres a large range of magazine and newspapers (including foreign newspapers), hot and cold food and drinks, snacks, cigarettes and alcohol, lotto as well as many grocery items. They've just had a refit so even if you've been in there before, theres many new items that were not there before. Theres also a Post Office, photocopying service and photobooth. According to the Manager there maybe the facillity to do driving licences instantly in the Post Office in the near future. The pricing is very competative and they have many special offers, especially on seasonal goods, that are equal and in some cases better than places like Sainsburys.

Rowe's news market and post office is quite a large shop and is very convenient as they are open from really early in the morning until 10 o'clock at night pretty much every day (maybe not so late on Sundays). The post office is open until 5:30 and there is nearly always a huge queue. The staff are nearly always very helpful though and they do get a lot of stick from people moaning about the queues - but its not their fault! The staff in the shop itself are really nice especially Chris, everyone loves her she has been there for a long time and is always happy and smiling
