Not one to bank on line so find staff very helpful I have to time my visits as can get busy

So I checked nationwide was open as I had a cheque to pay in it was, Thursday 9 to 4.30. But when I get there there is a note on the door saying they are closed, but staff inside will be working for everyone else! Not good enough. As hours are short enough as it is, lots of disappointed people outside who had made a special trip ..like myself. Think of all the people arriving in their lunch hours later too !

The employees in this bank were incredibly pleasant and helpful to my husband and me when we went in to exchange some outdated 10 pound notes this week. We had been given the runaround at the TSB bank across the street, so it was a real a great relief to find such helpful people at Nationwide!

Mostly do my banking online, but sometimes there is a need to visit the branch. Always helpful and efficient when I have needed to visit.

We're so lucky to have a building society in our town, with most of the banks closing down. Have been a customer at this branch for over 20 years and always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Tried to phone the Wantage branch today at 12.40 on the 0800 number and no one answered after 1.42 minutes it cut out on me.
