Had fish and chips,crispy batter but a little bland.
We were a large group and considering the business we bring to this pub every year, the service was a little lacking. I guess this was due to another group already eating with only 2 members of waiting staff.

We were a very large group today attending for lunch. Somehow they managed to pull it off, serving lots of different delicious meals promptly. Thank you to all your staff who helped make our day run smoothly

Lovely pub with a large outside seating area. Possibility for motorhomes to stay overnight for a small fee after confirmation.

Says there?s food served on ?Tuesdays til Sundays? so we turned up, on a Sunday evening and they tell us that they ?haven?t served food on Sunday evenings since Covid?.

What a lovely pub. We had an issue with our dog on our way home to Yorkshire and knew we needed to stop off for the night in our motorhome. Just looked on Pub Stopovers on FB and this pub was highly recommended. I rang up, spoke to the lovely Jessie and he was so helpful over the phone so decided it was a welcoming place. When arrived and sorted the dog out all was good, we ordered the best fish and chips and a pint. The pub is immaculate. Staff and people so friendly. I thoroughly recommend The Red Lion. What a gem we have found. Thank you.
