Stayed here for 5 nights for a business trip. Couldn?t have picked a better place, the rooms are comfortable and clean (they are not the Hilton if that?s what your looking for) but the service, the personal touch and everything that comes with is 5*. If your going to have some food have it in the Bar, Sam (owner/chef) can good some good food! Fantastic stay will 100% be back when down this way.

Very warm welcome and friendly service. Great options for vegans on the bar menu, fresh and tasty food. My room was clean and comfortable, I even got a fridge! Thanks for having me!

Stopped off on the way back to a local campsite - proper friendly peeps, quality beer and pizza and fell in love with barmaid ? Bon ?

Great welcome. Nothing too much trouble & very thoughtful provisions in room for breakfast. Enabled us to have a speedy getaway in the morning.Rooms: Very spacious & clean.Food & drinks: Super evening meal & speedy service.Noteworthy details: We were walking the Ridgeway Long Distance Path & this was the best stop on our walk. One of the cheapest, no frills, but excellent. Sam is a super host.

Easy communication. Arrived following a washout, from walking the Ridgeway. Landlady (Sam) was incredibly accommodating and offered washing /drying facilities that were not at all expected. Room was simple but clean, tidy and excellent value. Adequate breakfast provide in room. Good menu options in restaurant, we'll prepared and very pleasantly served. Many thanks

The bar staff are very nice !!!!I have eaten here before and it was actually fresh home made food. This time the staff did admit it was frozen potatoes etc. The menu stated that it was home made Yorkshire pudfding which in the past when eaten here it was , but this time it was frozen and came out burnt and tasted bitter . I sent it back but still came out burnt. The cabbage was soggy. The roast beef came out in chunks and was not sliced , carrots css as me out chunky and not cooked properly. the presentation was awful . Everything just chucked on the plate. Very very disappointed overall.

Clean and comfy room. Excellent customer service from Sam. Lovely pub, unfortunately only had time for a drink didn't eat but friendly atmosphere and chatty staff. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic meal; everything was delicious & clean plates all round. Only wish we had room for desert?next time. Great, friendly service & really good choice on the menu. It was our first visit & we all agreed we would eat here again. Thank you.
