This store has been closed for many months and in that period they have disposed of No 5 and all their activity is being conducted in No 4. The interior has been completely refurbished and the entrance to the shop is now down a small side passage.

It was closed for a major refurbishment when we went there today 23rd July 18., It is expected to last till September. However we managed to speak to a young lady who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, she showed us pattern books, and explained pricing. We left with a good idea of what we needed, so we just have to make a phone call and place an order.

The actual shop has a good selection of products but I have been in probably 5 times now and not once has a member of staff acknowledged me by saying good morning, making eye contact or asking if I need assistance. Really does need a shake up. The most unfriendly of shops and I won't be returning.

I recently had vinyl flooring fitted by this company. I would highly recommend the service from measuring up to final fitting. My floor presented a problem which was calmly dealt with resulting in a follow up visit which happened as soon as I was ready. The standard of finish is first class and the fitters were very pleasant people to have in my house. I am happy to award Greens of Thame five stars.

This is the shop that saves my sewing projects on a regular basis. Thread, trims, zippers, buttons and 'hardware' (needles, pins, etc.) are all to be had when you need them most. The recent addition of knitting wool is much welcomed. The fabric choices are limited, but well-chosen. The service is always good!

Green's furnishings is a brilliant shop. I have bought most of the material from Green's for the curtains I have made in our house. I was impressed by their very fast ordering service and liked the fact that they could arrange next day delivery from their suppliers :-)

We've had Roman blinds and curtains made and installed by Greens as well as our home re-carpeted by this family business. The selection of fabrics is varied and sourced from very good furnishing fabric houses. They do require long lead times though. The carpet ranges to choose from are comprehensive. We were thrilled with the two chaps who fitted the carpets...an absolute pleasure to have working in one's home. The haberdashery section is adequate but not very creative although there are signs that this could be improving. At the moment the small range of quilting fabrics are uninspiring, so too are the cross-stitch kits etc. The shop is probably catering for more mature needle workers.
