Have changed my stats as I went back . They now have super rude staff , very unhelpful , make prices .
When I arrived they were unable to find booking ,only once I said I was going and my agent called them did they say they found it and will give a room , I had left to another hotel .
Very disappointing.
Avoid at all costs .

Went for a 2 night stay midweek .

Full of limescale , wallpaper peeling , toilet won?t stop water dripping , no water pressure .
Nice size bath , and cups left next to sink presentable.

Dirty old changing rooms . Plastic cups inside pool . No staff manning the pool so self service for towels . No life guards

Nice but very small selection of breakfast .

Check in staff was rudest yet . Check out was a lady mia which was sweet but her trainee status without anyone with her so she couldn?t help . After 10 min waiting for extra person just left .

Don?t order drink as they don?t know how to make cocktails . Meal took somone 40 min to get fish and chips

I came to a spa day yesterday and was disappointed. I have no complaints about the lunch, which was delicious, and the waiting staff who were charming, helpful and good at their jobs. The spa however was a different story. The venue is very tired and worn, the changing room resembles a leisure centre rather than a spa. Everywhere was a little bit grubby and in the spa lounge there was no attention to detail - cups left uncleared, hot water for drinks not refilled etc. The boiler broke that afternoon in the hotel leaving no hot water for showers or anything. This in itself is something that happens sometimes, but there was no customer service or care offered around this just a hope that it would be fixed in a few hours (by which time the spa day would be finished). The bar and communal areas looked nice and I imagine it would be a good place to break a journey and stay overnight, but not for a. 'pamper day'.

Issues throughout our stay from start to finish, and staff very friendly but less than actively helpful for the most part. My parents in law paid for early check in to their room so we could change before of a family wedding in the area, only to be put in a room with no air conditioning, no sofa bed, and no walk in shower - all things they had deliberately paid extra for. Sorting this out was a painfully slow process that ended in my sister in law taking that room and they would be moved when we got back from the wedding in the evening.
We then got back in the evening to be put into our rooms- my parents in law's being wrong and them having to move AGAIN at 1am, and my partner and i's bathroom smelling strongly of a urinal, and room not having AC or a fridge.
We spoke to reception in the morning as we were by that point in the night sick of walking to and from reception (which is extremely complicated due to maze-like hallways and about 3 signs in the whole building, most of which point the wrong way), and the receptionist basically just said OK and waved us along.
I will say the hotel is convenient location-wise and the breakfast was very good, but we would NOT stay here again.

kids allowed in pool a lot of the time so not very relaxing in the spa if you prefer quiet. spa staff and waitressing staff seemed understaffed or maybe undertrained. steam room smelt and wasn?t good. room was very nice and food was very good

Greta little place in the countryside conveniently situated just off the M40, that worked really well for meeting family from the north when I had flown in to London. Slightly dated but looks like they?re renovating in stages. Nice and peaceful environment with easy parking and great food. Breakfast was nice and staff were very attentive, especially Tom on reception. Thanks for a lovely stay

Stayed at hotel in August whilst attending an event in Oxford area. The whole experience at this hotel was just so dull and uninspiring for the money paid.
Bedroom felt a little tired decor-wise and some corners/elements would have benefitted from a better clean. Room was stifling warm on an average temp day - only 1 of 2 windows would open, no air con, only a dirty plug in fan.
Breakfast was the worst bit. Tasted as low quality/cheap ingredients. Went down as opened in the morning and some food on hot plates already stone cold plus not a full compliment of hot options. The machine hot drinks were watery (tip - mugs have room to take an extra expresso shot to pep them up). Had so, so much better at budget hotel chains.

This hotel is a good choice because we had been to Blenheim Palace for the day. We stayed two nights so opted for a junior sweet. Room 342, the room on the whole was fine. The room is a parcula shape, it's rectangular but with two box shapes in it. I guess these were the neighbours bathrooms no doubt. Unfortunately there were cobwebs in the top corners above the window, a huge spider above the bathroom door, a splatted bug on the bathroom ceiling and the bath panel has bad water damage. Non of these game changing but a little disappointed really for the money. The restaurant was amazing, the food, drink and staff were spot on. And a big shout out to Lilly our waitress. Very smart and professional and only 18 years old. She is also the food and drink supervisor. She will go fair in this business I'm sure. Because we had a two day stay we decided to use the spa. I opted for a pedicure and my kind lady went for a swim. The pool was a good temperature. But the pool area was dirty, the large air vent cover was thick with dust, the floor had a lot of long hair on it and the concrete pool edge has green algae on it.

The service is very slow. They haven?t even cleaned the room by 2 PM, even though I?ve been out of the room since 11 AM.

Used this hotel for fast charging as I have a EV and had 3 miles of battery. The signs state you must pay for parking. I went into the hotel used the clean toilets after a few hours of driving, registered my car for free on parking system and got a coffee.
Might stay here in future to break up my journey next time I drive to London for work...looked like a nice play to stay.

I stayed 3 nights for first time at this hotel.
All was going well, except for on my third day in early afternoon.
I orderd some lunch after coming from spa treatment and swimming pool.
Couldn't get into my room ? went all the way back to reception after leavimg tray of food on a conservatory table.
The guy couldn't fimd booking under my name ?? after waiting about 5 minutes i told him this is ridiculous after paying a high price £439 fpr 3 nights no meals included, i get locked out my room.
I wait to wait outside my room same my food getting cold and i just wanted to get into my room. After waiting another 5 minutes no body came to my rescue to let me in so i had to go back to the reception so angry this time, there is only so much one can take, to find in dismay the same receptionist attending to other customers.
I told him there's you serving other people whilst i am still waiting to get access to my room after paying so much money this is so wrong and not acceptable. Asked to see the manager to complain who said that my name couldn't be found on the system. Told him thats not my problem but at least some body could have come to explain the situation whilst i was waiting outside my room. I can understand if it was on my first day before even being given key to my room, but on the third day...? very bizatd.
I wasnt offered any incentive for all the inconvenience and embarrassment, and i told the Manager i will be sending a bad review for the emotional distress caused.
Another downfall, they do room service for breakfast.
Positive note, my room was very clean, food not to the best in my opinion. Except for breakfast exceptional and first class. Compliments to the chef, cook assistants and their staff.
Some of the hotel staff, warm, pleasant and helpful.
I expect to hear back from the Manager with at least a complimentary voucher or part of a small refund on one of the three days of my booking for that bad experience of today.
