New system implemented so you have to queue for routine over the counter meds along with those needing prescriptions. So now it takes over half an hour to get some Piriton. I do feel sorry for those needing prescriptions in these days of chronically understaffed and underfunded pharmacies but rather than try and fix this the local manager appears to have decided to break an additional service that previously worked.

The staff are nice but the looooong queues for prescriptions is a joke. One pharmacy for the whole of Thame... I can get an appointment at the doctors on the same day and then have to wait two days with a painful ear infection to get the prescription... why was the pharmacy next to the doctors closed, there's clearly the demand?

Yet again ?.I requested my heart meds from the pharmacy in good time having known they have had issues getting my medication previously.
3-5 days is stated , I went in to query after 8 days when my medication might be ready only to be told another 2 weeks as out of stock.(I would physically have ran out in the next 3days)
With this I took my prescription to Haddenham pharmacy and I had it in my hand within 5 minutes of handing it over at the counter.
If boots are out of stock and there?s going to be a long delay a text might be of help.
Second time now I?ve had this scenario!

I would like to say a big thank you to Hens and Ruth. They are so helpful and caring. I now you have to queue and wate for an age but they all do the best they can with the numbers. The service from these two is way beyond what is expected. Hen was so kind yesterday and helped sort out a prescription for me. Thank you.

Has a monopoly in Thame, always busy and no help if you need anything a bit different. Will be driving to P Ris in future as Rowlands there always helpful.

During my time at boots I met a very understanding and helpful clerk named millie, she was polite, kind and helped me with all my queries :) provided outstanding customer service and support, will be visiting again!

Waited one hour for a 'walk in' consultation. Totally ignored for the duration while other customers were seen with various issues and dealt with.
Walked out hoping never to return.

Obv a utterly rediculous thing to i do closing down the boots pharmacy by the towns drs.. The poor staff in this branch are now seriously overwhelmed, overworked n yet they still manage to help and still with a smile on their faces, many members of staff have been there years and are amazing but they are seriously stretched.... Please open another pharmacy Thame for everyone's sake! I dont envy their job
