A big thank you to Antila, whose amazing service and cheerful welcome made our Sunday lunch at The Crazy Bear (Stadhampton) truly memorable. Her friendly manner and thoughtful attention throughout the afternoon added a real sense of care and warmth. We thoroughly enjoyed the 12-course tasting menu, which was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The choice between classic and vegetarian options was especially appreciated, with each dish crafted with creativity and precision. The setting was equally impressive ? charming, stylish, and perfectly suited to a leisurely afternoon. Thank you again to Antila and the rest of the team for a fantastic experience. We very much look forward to our next visit!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms are very opulent and comfortable. The outside area is lovely and welcoming with various areas to sit and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. The Thai meal was delicious and the dishes kept on coming! All the staff were very helpful and delivered service with a smile, particularly Owen who served us breakfast, the Malaysian guy at the bar and the reception girls on the bus. Would love to visit again.

Great food, perfect service. Would highly recommend. Only downside was the restaurant as the normal venue is undergoing works but we look forward to coming back to see it when it?s finished. Thanks so much - it was fabulous - and we are very picky ?

Amazing food, spiced to order for the red curry perfectly. Meats were soooo tender. Duck rolls stuffed with meat. Brilliant meal. Highly recommend

The 12 course Thai tasting menu was superb. Food tasted delicious. I assumed the 12 courses would each be very small but I was wrong. We were very full when finished. The decor was fantastic, and the waiting staff were attentive and on the ball. All in all, one of the best Thai dinners I?ve had.

Terrible atmosphere in this place, the decor is tragically dated and classless. I'd have put up with the average service, pub grade food and a tight uncomfortable sitting area if it wasn't so expensive. It's a typical badly run hotel racket where they charge the hell out of you and give you a poor experience. The floor was loose so every time someone walked behind us it shook the table, the ceiling fans made a horrible whining sound the whole time, they forgot about our drinks order, we were given very dirty plates which was immediately visible and the staff were obviously not getting along. The person serving us was certainly trying but definitely at the end of her rope. All in all most definitely do not waste your money. :)

Definitely more style over substance.
The decor is unique I'll say that much, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Unfortunately let down by rather bland food. I've definitely had better Thai food for much less.

We went for dinner at the English restaurant at Stadhampton Crazy Bear hotel. The large steak (can?t remember the name, but the one that weighs 1kg) was amazing! I shared it with my husband and although he had the lion?s share it still defeated us, however the flavour and quality of the meat was worth it. Staff were great, friendly, prompt and polite. Really good lighting in the restaurant, creating the right ambience. I also appreciated that all customers were seated around the restaurant instead of next to one another, like some other restaurants do. Cocktails were delicious and we appreciated how my husband?s cocktail was on the house for his birthday. We definitely will be returning.

We had a brilliant time when visiting. The menu we were served for the 12 course was different to the one advertised online, however we did still really enjoy it. Food was cooked lovely and the staff couldn?t do enough for us

We hired the log cabin on Sat 30th November ( for up to 12 guests) for a 30th birthday celebration, we choose from the Thai menu and had such a lovely evening! The log cabin was clean, warm and private. The decor was elegant and traditional. Our waitress for the evening was Hollie and even though there was a large Christmas event going on Hollie was a credit to the Crazy bear, she was friendly, efficient and professional. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. Holly checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed ( which was very impressive on such a busy night for the venue) Based on our experience and our lovely waitress i would definitely recommend hiring the log cabin for a celebration.
