Called in here for the first time for a family gathering last weekend and was not disappointed! This is a real gem of a traditional English country pub, with well-kept ales, excellent food, and a warm and friendly environment. A huge thanks again to Ben and the team, we will definitely be back!

Very nice atmosphere was fantastic service. I had a steak salad and I have to say it?s probably the best steak salad that I?ve ever had. Lovely garden, just sitting in the garden gets the sunshine all day. Great selection of beers to be enjoyed. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Always a delight to eat, here.
Friendly service.
Roast for 5 adults plus a drink for £99.
Gravy and ginormous yorkshire pud were especially yummy.
Cauli cheese, carrots and red cabbage plus an offer of extra veg was a gr8 bonus.
Quick, friendly service.

great little pub! it has been alot better with Ben as the landlord. good food, good atmosphere and a good vibe.

Food had finished but at 3pm officially but the landlord knew we had just played golf and we were hungry. He reopened the kitchen for us and did ham are and chips. Thank you so much. It was just the job. So obviously we say great customer service.

Great little village pub with a welcoming staff. We arrived after a long drive from up north to a wedding in the village. The kitchen had closed but we were starving and the chef agreed to open up and sort us out with scampi and ham eggs and chips. Perfect. What more do you need ! Thanks guys. Have a great summer
