The food was outstanding especially the chicken bacon and mushroom pie. All fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. Fish and chips was very good.The prices are very reasonable for the standard of food served.

Absolutely amazing pub, staff were brilliant catered for 11 people, food came out all together the chef did an amazing job, well done!! to the kitchen and also catered for a gluten-free person we were all so amazed at the service we got 100% could not have done anything better

A lovely country pub with superb food and very friendly staff. We stayed in the village for the weekend and the food was so good on Saturday (beef burger/pie of the day) we went back for beautiful Sunday roast with all the trimmings. We felt well and truly spoilt and so did our dog Colin who was given treats and water. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a fabulous Sunday roast with friends.
Starters were beautiful and the perfect size. The roast beef was absolutely lovely, full of flavour and plenty of side dishes to accompany it. Will definitely be back. Thank you Andon and team

Atmosphere was great. A real community pub. They had a "senior moment" band when we went on a saturday evening and it was great. The only thing they dont serve food in the evening.

Drinks only while the kitchen is being refurbished when we visited, but it?s a lovely old pub featured in Midsomer Murders, as you can imagine it as great atmosphere

We visited yesterday and had Sunday roast the food was amazing as was the service. Actually never had such a good pub lunch. Would highly recommend it!
