A mixed experience for me. All the chaps in the yard were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. I ordered some decking boards to be delivered, and they agreed to trim them down to size for me which I really appreciated. Fairly long delivery lead time, but that was ok, I didn?t need them urgently and was happy to wait. On the day of delivery, nothing. I called them at 3pm to find out what was happening, again I spoke to a very helpful man on the phone who told me the delivery had been cancelled and I should have been called (which hadn?t happened). He said he would find out what was happening and get the transport manager to call me. They called me back and said they could deliver on a tool hire van today. I again checked could they be trimmed down to size, which they confirmed. When they arrived, they were the full size (apparently they couldn?t be trimmed because they weren?t arriving by courier, I?m not sure how that has any impact) and it was only curbside delivery. I would have been happy to wait for them to be trimmed down but that option was never offered. The delivery driver was again very friendly. I can?t fault the attitude of the staff I dealt with (face to face or the first chap I spoke to on the phone) at all, they were all so lovely, but the company seems to have some policies that are unhelpful to DIY customers.

I have never dealt with such an incompetent company in my life. It took them 2 weeks to delivery soil, they cancelled the delivery multiple times even though I rang in the morning asking if it definitely will be delivered today. They then illegally dumped the soil delivery on a public highway and left. The driver Ellace was very rude and was supposed to call, but just dumped the soil illegally and left

Never been to Travis Perkins before. The guys at the reception and in the yard couldn?t of been more helpful and professional. Brought a couple of building materials.Thought to be very reasonable priced.

Some of the boards in the delivery had rotted chunks missing. Initially the communication was great and I was promise replacements would be delivered two days later?.. they never arrived, chased them up and was told they would check with the relevant member of staff. Over a week later still no boards and no further contact

Travis Perkins has been on this site for a LONG time but their address is wrong (they on Ledgers Lane, not Sandy Lane) AND the Google maps pointer is in the wrong place. I was actually looking for Benchmark kitchens which turns out to be a Travis P subsidiary on the same site. Anyway, both have the wrong address and wrong Maps location. After struggling to find them I called back to Benchmark who KNEW that the location was wrong but it seems that the staff are such dopes that they have not fixed it. I have now made a revision so I hope you can find them if you want to. BUT I would not recommend it anyway! TP are super pricy.
