Food and drink expensive, staff inattentive, rude, and quite aggressive. Used to be good but I wouldn't go there again. There are empty tables even at peak times.

Parking: We parked down the road at the 24hour car park
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed and catered to. The staff were so accommodating to my 10year old.

Great place to visit with your friends! Staff is incredebly friendly and choice of board games is great! (The only possible drawback is that some games are old, and not in a very good state)

Great board game cafe with a large collection of board games and lovely snacks & drinks. They did open 15mins late but they let us stay longer to account for the missed time.

Very popular board game café. Great selection of games to play, and for sale.
Didn't dine in but staff were helpful. Lively and inviting, you probably want to book a table at the weekends though.

After hearing from many people how great this place is, I finally got to try it for myself and it met the hype. The staff are so welcoming, lovely and friendly. They are very knowledgeable about the games on selection and made some brilliant recommendations. The amount of games available to play is immense and impressive. The drinks and snacks were great too.
Overall, I can't wait to visit again and try out more games in the future. Thanks to the staff for making my first experience a great one, especially Zoe (I believe that was their name!)

To be completely honest, experience was ruined by bad customer service. Selection of games was good - service was not good. An employee mistakenly put sweets on the table with our hot chocolate we ordered therefore we assumed it came with our drink. The employee then came back 1 min later and said we had to pay for the food even though she mistakenly put it there. I rebuked the extra charge and the rest of my experience was horrible. They were giving dirty looks and slamming any orders we had left on our table. Just really disappointed when it wasn't our mistake but theirs.

£7 a person to sit in a cold room and play worn-out board games. I was told someone would be there to help choose a game and make it a fun experience - but that didn't happen. We were lucky some people in our group could fill that role. Also, my hot drink, which took ages to arrive, was tepid, and when I asked if it could be heated up, the bar staff implied I was wrong and they had just made it. Needless to say, my re-made drink was piping hot.

Eye-wateringly expensive, ambiguous cover charges and disappointing customer service. The owner is shockingly rude to the point of being insulting. Not family-friendly and terrible acoustics, which made quite a stressful experience. It was all so bad, I was compelled to write my first ever Google review.

Rude and aggressive manager, who clearly doesn?t care about repeat business. Some lovely staff, some a bit odd. Not family-friendly. Awful acoustics, which makes it hard to hear each other and explain rules. Incredibly expensive and vague explanation of cover charges.
