This place has such a natural, normal community feel, it feels like a not-for-profit parent and child group. The coffee is excellent, as are the cakes and, I'm told, the lunches freshly cooked.

What a fantastic cafe. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. The variety of food was excellent from cakes to have with your coffee to full meals, soup and sandwiches and many other snacks in between. Oh and icecream for the hot days. It's definitely a gem in a gem of a park.

Charged full price for a miniature croissant - actually couldn't believe it. When I queried it the staff looked at me a bit funny and just said they were different ones. I was charged full price for them even though they were a third of the size. Bit ridiculous- it's already quite expensive but that was ridiculous.

The hot chocolate is great! Good selection of gluten free cakes (which is pretty unusual and very much appreciated by my daughter who has coeliac disease). Lovely ice cream. Quite pricey but nice as a treat. Family friendly.

Poor selection of food, unless you want differing combinations of eggs. Not very well advertised as a vegetarian cafe, lasagna had no meat in and neither did the curry.
