We?re at the door 12min before it?s supposed to close. And they wouldn?t allow anyone in. At least 10 people went. We waited at the door, promised we can finish in 5min, but they just stood there and kept the door closed. I don?t understand why they can so shamelessly pretend to be deaf when a lady was like ?I just want to get one thing for my dog.? Please don?t hire sociopaths. Never in my life written a review but this is way too bad

Went to tesco express, in st.aldates (the one opposite Christ park). I arrived into the manual tills side and i asked the guy at the till to scan my shopping and to drop it on the side so its easy for me to pack. He goes: "i'll pass it to YOU so YOU can put it on the side for YOU to pack, ur making my life harder". Agressive attitude.
But clearly thats not what i asked for to begin with. I then said: thats not what i asked to begin with, so i need you to do what I THE CUSTOMER have asked you to, because im the customer and your serving me. The guy in question still tries to manipulate/twist my request. The guy argues with me still, and repeatedly & rudly says: "the customer is never right. "My reply was: clearly your in the wrong place because you as well are refusing to follow a simple request". At one point another guy overheard it & takes over and sadly & ironically agrees with this collegue. These two guys had no name bagde, i quickly understood as to why. I asked about the manager, and i was told: hes's right here". and to my surprise the manager was already serving on another till, and heard the whole conversation, and simply and briefly said: :ok lets just carry on". He just couldnt care less/not bothered. What does that say? From a manager?! That kind of beahvior overall just goes to show st.aldats express tescos staff are not fit for customer service, the basic rules are not there. Very rude, agressive atittude. Shocking.

Security guard is extremely racist or ageist to the point he followed me (a black 17 year old) out of the shop to search me and after searching me off the premises he made some comment about a banana and I didn?t think much of it from the shock but come to think of it that was extremely racist and unprofessional and to think he works for ADT a known brand for security is ruining not only tescos brand image but also ADTs brand image, shocking in this present time racism and profiling is still a thing

I have been to so many Tesco, but the manger in this shop was so helpful, he could not do enough for me,sit down, he got me a chair,gave me water and didn't want to leave.I have server back problems and siacter(proble spelt it rong) he serves a customer then back filling stock, look's at the coffee machine,if it's broken sorrysir.Clubcard member 19 year's old .... if all Tesco's was like this,who knows . You could learn a a lot from him,yes you Tesco, with love ?
