Genuinely awful. Severely overpriced in comparison to other Tesco stores and close supermarkets. Staff aren?t very polite or professional. Escalators broken more often than working. I try and avoid if possible.

The girl behind the counter at Rowe?s Cornish pasties is very rude. I asked her the prices for a particular item as it was not displayed. She gives me a dismissive wave and no real instructions. She is a black girl who works the counter alone. Horrible experience, I will never buy from Rowe?s until they sort out their poor customer service skills.

Sold me expired meat and then were incredibly rude when I tried to return it, so I had to just throw it away.

I have tried twice to pick up a parcel from Evri. The staff are very helpful and do their best, but there are hundreds of parcels piled up and no system to sort them. They need to have better facilities as the current arrangement means the staff waste time searching for the parcel and the customer wastes time waiting. They told me they keep asking for this to be sorted, but no-one is listening.

This morning I though I would try Rowe?s for a coffee on my way to work. The girl behind the counter was busy but I asked if they were open and she replied NO. she was very rude and I will never try to buy something form any Rowes again based on this experience. Id she gets asked this a lot a closed notice on the counter with opening times might help.

I was at this store shopping yesterday, i witnessed disgusting use of tone and voice from one worker to another colleague, the girl was brought to tears and i think this is no way to act, especially in-front of customers.

My friend (17) wanted to buy an energy drink but as the employee came over to ask for ID (which she has) she then turned to me and our other friend to ask for our IDs (which we do not have because we were not buying anything). She then refused to allow the sale and my friend had to change it for a sprite. I would have understood if she did not have any ID but both me and our other friend had our college IDs on, proving our age. Tesco does not have the ability to refuse sale to someone because another person does not have ID, and none of us had discussed exchanging the ONE drink she was buying.

The lady on the tills refused sale because I was buying a meal deal for myself with a energy drink (Celsius to be extact). While waiting to pay the lady wouldn't approve it because my 2 friends hadn't had ID with them (despite them not buying anything and standing away from me in the corner), when I was the only one buying a meal with the drink and I had shown physical proof of my ID. She was rude and wouldn't hear or understand us. Was unable to get her name, but I'm sure this isn't the first bad review she's had. Tesco you need to sort your staff out.
