“Just off the ferry from Spain and we live in Cumbria, so we stopped here to break the journey for tomorrow as it was getting late. We're tired and check in by Ali was fast and efficient. Our breakfast and dinner needs were sorted immediately and we've just shared a really tasty pizza before bringing a glass of wine up to our room. Only one towel in the room which is a bit of a bug bear for me in Premier Inns. It happens every time. One towel for 2 occupancy. This was sorted by Ali though and we have been given ample towels to bring back up! Quick thanks to the young lady on the bar, think it was Louisa. Very helpful. Thanks”

“I was so delighted the way I was served by the staff. Especially the one who offered assisting to carry my Henry hoover. He asked if I was driving, replied no I'm going to catch a bus. We went together to no 10 bus stop, offered him a tip, politely declined. It proved there are still genuine people in this world.”

“Evi is just the most superb assistant. Efficient, knowledgeable, always cheerful and friendly and, fairly uniquely, she seems to be able to spot how she can help customers without them asking. Thank you Evi!”

“Still affordable considering other places but I think it has less options considering it’s the only branch in Oxford coz I have visited Aldi in London, they had much more options”

“Had everything I needed at the time. It's a bit tucked away behind a bigger store, so don't give up looking for it. Good store and busy. No hassle though.”

“My go-to for affordable shopping as a uni student in Headington. Very helpful staff too, even though they tend to have only one till operator active the person works very quickly and efficiently so it’s like having two of them haha. Brilliant place.”

“Small but excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful - they sorted out a PayPoint service which was 'too difficult' for other local shops. Thank you.”

“"I am consistently impressed with the service and selection at my local Costcutter. The store is always well-stocked with a wide variety of products, from fresh produce to pantry staples to household items. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, creating a welcoming shopping experience every time I visit. I especially appreciate the convenience of having a store that offers both quality products and competitive prices in my neighborhood. Whether I'm doing a quick grocery run or stocking up for the week, I can always rely on my local Costcutter to meet my needs. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a reliable and customer-focused shopping experience."”

“Great service station with clean toilets and good fast food outlets. Shame about the non-Tesla charging points. I've NEVER managed to successfully charge my car here; either too few or not working.”

“A shop packed with all the essentials. Staff were friendly. Decent prices. Conveniently located in rural village. Great place to stop to grab some supplies before you venture up the hill to the forest for a long walk around woods, or a walk to Oxford. Cycle track nearby is a great adventure.”

“A family run shop that has a great selection of everyday items, as well as a few surprises - their own brand curry sauces are excellent. A major plus point is the incredible range of beers/ales/ciders that they stock - a truly vast range!Run by two really friendly people who are very much part of the community. Highly recommended.”

“A good supermarket in the area serving the local community with a decent selection. Although Lidl is in the area, it does not have as many selection as sainsburys. Prices are a bit more than lidl but it compensate by slightly better quality.”

3.2Average37 Reviews

“Impressed by the size and selection of everything, very diverse choice. I asked for help one of the staff members, he was nice, and walked through the whole shop with me couple of times to check what I needed. No signal which feels a bit odd, but as I understand it’s the Oxford problem, not this Tesco’s ?”

“The best supermarket in the Uk. Sometimes the prices are competitive in some products, but the quality, cleanliness and variety is what makes Sainsbury’s the best in my opinion.”

“For a quick stop off you can buy an unusual amount of things here! This is not a full sized shop but it's a useful shop. There are two proper sized parking spaces here and a disabled ramp. The doors are on auto.”
