My partner and i went to the Spice Lounge tonight and had a truly incredible meal. Their dishes were flavorful and the ones we had didn't include any heavy cream, which happens all the time in the states. We're Americans and have been missing the spices we're used to on our trip to the UK, but the Spice Lounge didn't disappoint. We ordered everything medium and it was spicy but delicious. My partner even wanted a little more spice, so they bright it back to the kitchen and added green chilis! I have an aversion to coriander, and they made me dishes without any in it, no questions asked. Truly delicious.
Service was also great, with friendly staff always at the ready to help fulfill a request or ask how our food was. Highly recommend the Spice Lounge to anyone coming through Oxford.

A splendid meal. The charming restaurant is on busy Banbury Rd, Oxford, but inside it is quiet with soft Indian music in the background. It was a lovely summer evening so I chose to sit outside on a small roofed balcony. After the tasteful papa dam with four different sauces I chose a Naga style vegetarian dish. It is not the usual type of dish. Very distinctive flavours, rich and full of surprises. I think they use a particular kind of ginger and this Naga dish is rather hot, so if you are not keen on chillies (theirs were green, amazingly tasty) tell the waiter. The staff is very attentive. To sum up, it is an incredibly good restaurant. I wonder why it is not packed with diners. Perhaps I attended too early in the evening. In my next visit to Oxford I shall surely come again.

I absolutely loved my chicken Naga Curry here, it's really hard to find a place that has one, let alone a tasty fresh and super spicy one. Would recommend

Found this based on Google reviews and did not disappoint. The quality of the food (especially the chefs specials) was excellent. The manager / owner was such a great host. We had a great night and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks

Back here after a several year gap and we were remembered, and warmly welcomed, so that was a good start.
Excellent Indian, three mains, three vegetable sides, all looking fresh, different and interesting and tasting excellent. Nice to be back.
