The team at this specsavers were absolutely wonderful. I was 20 minutes late due to buses and having a newborn but they still very kindly saw my for my eye test and helped bring up the things I needed for the baby, were kind and reassuring and also helped me get a new lot of glasses. Everyone I interacted with were amazing and should be very proud of the amazing job that they are doing.

My vision has changed so I wanted a check up. Booking was easy with lots of options. The appointment was on time. Everything was explained before each part of the test. Everyone was helpful & thorough. Highly recommend

The opticians are good but the glasses are bad. I spent extra money to buy designer glasses hoping they would be good quality. It was £170 for them, model number VR 17 plus the amount of money to have the lenses added. In just over one year one of the arms broke - I brought the glasses into the store but they wouldn?t repair them because it had been over a year - I had to fix them myself with superglue. Today the second arm of the glasses broke off, not with any force or damage - I always keep them in a case. They are obviously made with cheap materials and massively marked up to £170 and it?s disgusting that specsavers think glasses which are so expensive should only last a year. I?ve been going to specsavers since I was a child but I won?t be going again, I?ll buy my next glasses from boots optician or an independent opticians and i recommend everyone else to do the same.

Didn't receive the welcome I expected, was acknowledged by glances from staff but left to wait without anyone smiling. My personal details were read out in front of other customers! I was upset about this and told the lady giving out my details how uncomfortable this made me; so much for GDPR!!!
The test/ diagnostics person only cleaned the area everyone rests their chin/ forehead on with a tissue but when challenged about this she said, she used a medi wipe first; I only saw her wiping with a tissue... maybe she did... before I came in. Either way she didn't admit to sanitizing the area before I came in.
Once with the optician, I felt rushed to leave! I guess my time was up eventhough I had questions I wanted to ask about my eye health.
He didn't discuss contact lens as an option as I've never worn glasses. One downstairs, I was left to try on 3 walls of glasses/ frames for which I didn't have time to do. I could've done with some help in this last stage but staff were unhelpful eventhough they stood chatting to each other, I guess they were busy.

All are good except for the physician, he was so careless and seemed to be only eager to let me have a new pair of glasses, totally ignored potential risk on my eyes. Fortunately I found out the real problem somewhere else. Won?t go back, definitely.

Great store, amazing staff always willing to go above and beyond to support. My daughter has a rare eye condition and they were able to diagnose it ensuring the referral was done quickly to the eye hospital. Since then have supported her ongoing care since with her complicated prescription for lenses.
